My review for my new contouring products!

5

As some of you know, I am still in the process of finding my perfect contouring products and tools, especially now that it's summer and I'm in need of some staying power to fend off these humid days!

Well I recently purchased myself a MAC powder blush in Blunt, and the MAC 168 brush, along with the $9 Sephora IT fan brush from the Sephora clearence section, and this is the result of my first try at using those items on my own, without any artists to help me or fix mistakes! I am quite pleased with Blunt and the 168 brush for blending, and the fan was a nice way t test out that style for not much money.

I do however think I still want to check out the MAC 109, and maybe a large shadow brush for a more defined look, and I also want to look into a denser fan brush because this one's bristles aren't quite dense enough for what I want. Still great brushes though and I highly recommend both Blunt and the MAC brush!

Blunt is a matte brown, with warm undertones. I would compare it to Tarte's Park Avenue Princess bronzer, just a bit warmer. The texture is smooth and very blendable, just as all MAC blushes that I have tried so far.

I used the MAC blush Harmony as my base contour, then went in and defined with Blunt, and highlighted with Benefit's High Beam to add dimension.

Foundation: MUFE - Mat Velvet - 20
Concealer: MAC - Pro Long Wear Concealer - NW20
Setting powder: MUFE - HD Powder

I have no eye, brow, or lip makeup here, and my roots are in need of a touch up!
