I have hair close to this color, maybe a little lighter but I can NEVER get it to curl like that. Beautiful!!

Have you tried curling is and securing it with duck bill clips until it cools, spraying it with hairspray and then taking it down it should help them stay if you allow the hair to cool so it holds the shape of the curl.
