Ah I know it's scary right!! what I love with short hair is BIG volume, try curling it (you'll feel like Marilyn monroe and it's amazing lol) I also really love using sea salt spray. the bigger and messier it is, the more I like it 😌 enjoy your new hair it's fun to have it short! I think I'm growing mine out again 😭
