I've been wearing fake nails for some years now and you get use to items sticking out higher than the nail. Don't get me wrong it takes some time to get use to haha! Feels very strange at first! Also using strong glue helps so if you knock the snail it doesn't move meaning not paranoid if I knock my nails :)
