New Foundation Test | Day 1 Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Today was my first time wearing a non-Asian BB cream in the Maybelline BB Cream. I have to say I was really impressed with the finish and how it applied. HOWEVER, as a "BB cream" It really is not very good. I checked the ingredients and none of them are substantially amazing for your skin and it seemed to be more of a medium coverage tinted moisturizer. BB Creams are intended to have amazing healthy skin promoting ingredients in them. I find that this product is marketed incorrectly. If you're looking for a great tinted moisturizer, this is it. If you want all the benefits of the hyped up BB Creams, go with an Asian or luxury brand.

Absolutely. With BB Creams, American brand products generally already existing makeup formulas with some skincare ingredients, where as Asian BB creams are skincare products with light makeup formulated into them. They are much better for your skin. Good luck and stay beautiful! And as with all products give it time to take effect.

The Skin79 brand BB Creams are the best selling ones at the moment. I noticed a great reduction in scaring on my face when I began using it last year. My face has cleared up a ton so I don't wear it often, but that is a great one to use. I noticed you have a warmer undertone to your skin tan I do so you may want to look at their golden bb cream, it has a more tan color to it as opposed to grey like the more popular one.

Yeah the Maybeline is a phenomenal dupe for the MAC which I have also tried. But as stated in the description, do NOT buy this with the intention of purchasing a "bb cream" you'll be very disappointed.
