Nail Effects (feb 2013)

Playing about with some new techniques:
Glitter gradient,
pastel pink and purple marbling with sugar rocks,
Silver and black marbling with piercing and some bling.
Please note if you are going to try these for yourself the sugar rocks can be created using acrylic or you can use cake decorating crystals and seal with a clear topcoat or an acrylic overlay. Not sure how they react to UV gel topcoats.
For best results layer the crystals for added height and depth.
Suitable for a photo-shoot or a night out but not ideal for everyday wear as crystals may get knocked off easily or harbour germs if not cleaned thoroughly. Pierced nails are very delicate (would only recommend it on artificial nails) and are easily caught/snagged.
