Sorry it's taken me so long to respond! Most of my make up palettes I pulled apart were cardboard so I just used scissors and my fingers! The plastic ones are harder =[ I tried a lot with a knife but only got a few.

Okay, this might sound like a dumb question, but how do you get the makeup out of the original palette/case? I have tried once before and couldn't figure it out (maybe it was just the brand?). I have seen several pics of people having them out.
