K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid)
When you're in a hurry, eyeshadow crayons are lifesavers. I just put a little bit of the darker color on the outer 1/3 of the eye and a bit into my crease line. My highlighter color is under my eyebrows and on the inner corner of my eyes.
Pardon the fuzzy caterpillar this photo was taken the day before my eyebrows were done.
