For the purple on the top of the nail, you put tape on the bottom to create precise lines. Color in purple. Then take the tape off, and put it a bit lower, then color in pink. Be careful to not overlap the colors! That's the most important thing. Then, take all the tape off and color the rest of the nail turquoise. :D

I did something similar to what Marta said, but simpler and in less steps! First, I painted my nails all pink. Then, once they were completely dry, I cut out pointed pieces of tape (which is the shape of the pink parts) and put them in the centre of my nails. Then, I painted above the tape teal, and below the tape purple! I'm probably going to post a DIY with photos on my blog, so check out laurenschroer.blogspot.com in the next week or so and it should be up if you're interested!
