Beauty Product Reviews
MAC-a-NO-GO
I assumed that the powder would be as great as all of their products, but it's really not. It's just another item that takes up my makeup bag space and attempts to do some type of coverage, when it doesn't. I get better coverage with NYX's Twin Cake Powder and I haven't left that yet.. I should write a review for that product as well! Next..
DIYs are Better!
I had purchased this product and definitely can do without it. I find that DIY methods (i.e. baby shampoo or my fave, olive oil and dish washing soap) can do MORE justice than this product and will help you save TONS of money ALSO...using both products will also benefit your brushes, making them soft and extra clean!
Cleaneses and Demolishes!
I heard about "Yes to Carrots" through word of Internet mouth and I had to run to Target to get it and the run was worth it! I have a combination of oily and dry skin and I tend to break out during stressful moments (which is often) and after using this product for the first time, my face automatically glowed! It was a noticeable glow, where people asked what kind of foundation I was using, but I didn't have any on! It was great. After using it for the past few months, I'm starting to really love it. I use it once a day, which is at night to cleanse my make up and dirt that swarms my face! It does a good job!
The Only Lipstick in My Purse!
I kid you not, I don't wear lipstick, except for this one and now because of Nyx's lipsticks I've been heavily influenced to do so. I'm about to try their mega shine lip glosses, but I'm not sure which one just yet. Suggestions?
Easy to Blend with Amazing Pigmentation!
There's so much to say about Nyx's single eye shadows. With their prices and make-up quality, it's hard to go wrong with them. I used Nude, Dark Brown and Highlight to create a natural smokey eye and it worked really well. Underneath it I used a primer to keep the colors in tact. AWESOME!
