Fast-drying, leathery/waxy finish <3
I LOVE THIS STUFF. It's easily my most-used nail polish in my collection now, and I have it just over a year now. I've used about 1/3rd of it. It's fast-drying, has a leather/wax-like finish which complements my leather jacket and waxed jeans perfectly. A++.
Moisture & Frizz-Control for Second-Day Hair
I use this product to smooth down frizz and add some moisture to my hair on days I do not wash it. It's a little on the thick side for my fine hair, so I spray it into my palms, rub them together, then smooth this over my hair before scrunching upwards from the bottom.
Matte but not overly drying!
I've recently fallen in love with this product and I'm a little bit obsessed. It doesn't help that they're so cheap, so I have almost every color. I find them to be very comfortable on the lips and not that drying for a matte product. (They're not un-drying, of course, just not as drying as some other matte lip products I have tried.) They also last a fairly long time on the lips, which is great.
Probably my new favorite thing! My favorite flavors are strawberry sorbet & sweet mint. Ball shape makes it super easy to apply, especially if I'm in a hurry. Just pucker, swipe, and you're done! Texture is great on my lips but it's not too thick. Has a bit of a gloss to it, too, so perfect for applying over any lipstick that can be drying.
Unfortunately I must be allergic to some ingredient in this, because it made my skin super itchy. :( I don't know exactly what ingredient it is, though.
Overall this was a nice lotion so I'm kinda bummed about the reaction my skin had to it. Smells decent, good consistency, and left a slightly greasy finish but that absorbed fairly quickly.
I love the idea...
...of a cageless curler, considering eyelash curlers used to freak me out. Recently I've been using the MAC half-lash curler and that's small enough to not be scary. However, when I saw the release of this I knew I had to try it! It looks less intimidating than a regular curler and is actually quite easy to handle. It also comes with a fair amount of replacement pads (I think there's 5)!
My only beef with this is that the first one I ordered came in off-center, so that the top part of the curler came into contact with the metal part of the bottom on one side, pushing the cushion out and bending my lashes instead of curling them. Augh! I had to exchange it for a new one, which works well but I did notice that the bottom part is kind of loose on this one so I'm able to move it back and forth slightly which changes it's orientation to the top piece. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or not! I'm going to go into Sephora soon and test the other ones they have to see if they have that same issue, and if not I'll exchange again.
Love the colors!
I absolutely love the colors in this palette! The shadows are typical UD quality—soft, pigmented, fairly easy to work with. I love the hot pink and the teal! I wish there were more brighter colors like those in the palette but it's still gorgeous, and quite a steal considering they're all-new shades and each one is practically full-size.
Love This
Firstly, let me say that the shadows are HUGE. You get a lot of product for your money, which at Sephora is $16. The shadows themselves are really soft and blendable. I love pairing Curvy Cami (the purple one with gold flecks) with Urban Decay's Grifter. I recently bought Luscious Lani, and though I haven't tried it yet I'm really looking forward to it. :)
I'm giving these a half-star more than my rating for the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstains because I felt like the applied a bit more smoothly than those, but I am still not a fan. Doesn't include a balm, so you'll have to apply your own favorite balm or lipgloss over it to keep your lips from drying out. I have 3 of these, I think, and the colors are nice but they don't last as long as I feel a lipstain should.
