Beauty Product Reviews
The only lip balm I use now
I've been addicted to lip balm since about 4th grade I think =) I've tried sooo many different brands and types, but this one has become my favorite of all time! I used to use chapstick brand, but the petroleum based ingredients were making me break out around my lips...not pretty. This product hydrates my lips and sinks in quite nicely, I don't have to keep reapplying constantly. I also like the packaging; I prefer not having to dip my finger in lip balm each time I use it. It looks red in the tube, but it goes on clear. I use lip balm everyday and this usually lasts me a couple months.
Favorite Natural Mascara!
This mascara is my all time favorite. I prefer to have full, natural looking lashes. And I hate clumping and "spider leg" lashes more than anything. I really have nothing negative to say about this product. The only reason I don't normally buy this is because it is more expensive and only available online to me, otherwise I would pick this over the "Full N' Soft" I normally use.
Did not blend, unnatural looking
I really wanted to like this tinted moisturizer; I love this brand in general....but this product was a complete miss for me. It did not look natural no matter how I applied it (fingertips, sponge, brush). It started to separate as soon as I got it (perhaps a bad batch?). This was not moisturizing at all, quite the opposite actually, it dried out my skin and flaws became much more apparent. I'm pale already and this made me look ghostly white; I imagine it would be even worse for anyone darker than me. I tried using it under my powder foundation and it looked cakey. Not attractive. The only good thing is that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause me to break out.
Good for everyday use!
I use this palette almost every day; Sin and Toasted are my favies. =) I also love that I can create more dramatic looks if I want. It travels well, compact enough to fit into my purse/carry-on. I've used it on friends of differing skin tones with great results as well. The only thing I don't like are the glittery shades (Sidecar and Gunmetal) because of the annoying fall out. I don't use the brush either; I just prefer fluffier brushes.
