This is not a bronzer, oops.
I picked this up on my last jaunt through Target thinking it was a matte multitonal bronzer. Whoops. It's an extremely sheer pressed powder! However, I rather like it as a setting powder. It is very lightweight and doesn't rough up my dry patches, and helps keep my foundation looking nice all day. Even applied alone it helps even skin texture (kind of a slight blur effect) and reduce shininess. A happy accident indeed.
Whole lotta nope.
This mascara is awful. The white fiber stuff is sticky and difficult to apply, doesn't go on evenly, and clumps into scary white spider lashes. The mascara, when used with the fibers, is goopy and clumpy, and looks horrible. The mascara, when used alone, is thin and watery, difficult to apply, and takes a long time to dry.
I had no luck using this mascara no matter how I used it. Ended up throwing it away.
Nice for a natural look.
I picked this one up when the store was out of my holy grail (the One by One Volum' Express waterproof) and decided to give it a shot. The brush is bushier than I am used to, and the first couple of times I used it I ended up with mascara on my lashline. The formula is nice; the mascara is thin but not watery, and doesn't clump easily. The result is defined, soft lashes. I prefer the more dramatic look from my regular mascara, but this one is nice for a change of pace.
Nice formula, worth a try.
Buildable coverage, wide range of shades.
I enjoyed this foundation, though it wasn't the best formula for my skin. I was excited to find a near exact match to my pale, neutral skin! This foundation has sheer to medium coverage, and feels light and natural. Unfortunately, this formula really didn't work with my super dry skin-- even after moisturizing, I ended up patchy and flaky within a couple of hours.
I really want to like this one, but my skin just won't let me.
Nice product, awful applicator.
Due to a peculiarity in my anatomy, my undereye circles are sunked and hollow. This proves to be a challenge when trying to use concealer, because I need to apply it into a hole and somehow create the illusion that the hole is not there.
This concealer covers my dark purple circles fairly well (though not completely). It doesn't crease with the fine smile likes under my eyes, which is nice. However, the giant fuzzy sponge applicator thing makes it impossible to actually apply it to my face directly. It doesn't fit into the hollows under my eyes, and ends up streaky and difficult to blend. I have taken off the sponge and I now use my finger or a regular makeup sponge to apply the product.
Pros: - Smooth forumla - Doesn't sink into lines
Cons: - Not opaque/doesn't conceal dark circles; cakes when try to build up - Stupid applicator thing
Opaque and resists transfer.
I used Kryolan Aquacolor makeup for my Maleficent costume to paint about 70% of my body bright green. It took a long time and several thin coats, but it built up nicely and evenly to be truly opaque. I applied with a wet sponge; I tried to use a damp brush but it was streaky. Can be a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it goes on fine.
I set it with transparent powder and a barrier spray, and the color stayed for several hours despite sweating, rubbing on clothing, and washing my hands a few times (I had my hands painted green as well). It didn't transfer onto my costume, or onto objects that I touched.
Great variety, quality, and price!
I've used several pairs of Kiss lashes and I have never been disappointed! The bands are thin and flexible, the lashes blend nicely with my own and look very natural. I've never tried the ones with the strings, so I can't comment on how that works. These are my favorite lashes so far!
Pretty colors, but not worth the price.
I really love the colors from this brand, but I just can't make myself love the formula. The polish requires at least two coats, which wouldn't be a problem except that it takes forever and a day to dry! Once dry, this polish will chip within hours without a top coat. With a top coat (either China Glaze, Seche Vite, or Out the Door) it will last a couple of days. I'm not particularly hard on my nails, so there is really no reason for it to chip so quickly.
Not worth the $6-8 price tag.
