Works really well and it truly mattifies the face. I've tried it with makeup and without makeup and works well in either scenario, but it's probably best to apply it (if you're going to do it at all with foundation on) right after applying foundation, otherwise it can kind of be a cakey mess if you apply too much.
I got the gold diamond powder. Simply LOVE this. It's kind of pricey for the tiny little container, but a little seriously goes a long way. It's a really great way to add some subtle and gorgeous glamor to an eye look. It is loose so it's better to have a sort of creamy base for it to stick on better.
If I was only allowed to use one cleanser for the rest of my life, I would have to choose Cetaphil. I had good skin until college, when stress broke me out big time. I had used other products, but Cetaphil helped clear up my skin in a major way. it's soothing and very clean, a simplistic cleanser but it works so well at removing makeup and making your skin feel very fresh. I never had any problems with it drying out my skin.
I had the sample pencil with Zero on one side and Whiskey on the other (came with the Naked palette.) While I like how easily it glides on, it doesn't stay on for me at all. If I tightline it fades in an hour or so, or simply transfers onto my bottom lid. It's fine for smokey eye looks but for anything else I don't really recommend it and won't repurchase.
Perfect and versatile
I had a bunch of loose shadows and two palettes before I got this one. I was never a HUGE eyeshadow fan, but after using the palette since the end of last year, I have to say that it's definitely changed my makeup routine for the better. I'm totally in love with it and it's so versatile from creating simple, clean looks, to going to a darker, more sparkly, night-on-the-town look. It's so great, and a wonderful variety of mattes and shimmers.
