For Skin Good Enough To Eat
On twisting open the recycled plastic pot the gorgeous yoghurty aroma of (organic!) blueberry seriously pleases the nostrils which makes this increasingly pleasant to wear for 5-10 minutes. The calamine soothes and calms redness and irritation almost instantly stopping rash breakouts in an instance. These masks cost £5.95 which does seem a little steep but you get at least 4 applications out of one measly little tub and I usually finish mine just before it goes out of date. As Lush Fresh Facemasks contain all natural ingredients and little to no preservative you should treat these as you'd treat fresh food; refridgerated and with a 2 week life expectancy. You should also be reminded that if you collect up 5 lush pots and bring them back for recycling you'll receive one of these luscious masks for free! This creamy mask is ideal if your skin is feeling a little troublesome and is in need of a little TLC. Perfect for sufferers of dry tight skin.
Fun and Effective.
A lovely thick clove smelling foot mask that really warms up your cockles. Slather on this mask and wrap the feet in clingfilm for as long as you like; whilst doing the ironing, watching a film or nattering on the phone then just rub in and wash off! A really simple and effective treatment that leaves feet really soft and refreshed. This is quite an expensive product but is a great treat once in a while (Stepping Stone is good to use inbetween treatments as it's much cheaper but less effective) also the 5 pots = free facemask is a great incentive to reach the end of your pot. Great quality fresh ingredients that come from renewable sources so all of the pampering and none of the guilt.
Beautiful Pop Of Colour!
A smooth, sweet smelling shade of Sugar Plum pink that lasts for hours and stays exactly where I put it. Looks absolutely amazing mixed with Cosmopop for a fruit salad look or as a duo-tone lip with Airborne Unicorn. Adorable packaging that fits with the whole whimsical ethos of the brand. My only criticism of this product is the lid on every single one of my Lime Crime lipsticks has cracked within a few days. Regardless of the 'scandal' that is floating around the internet these are great quality lipsticks that I would happily pay the money for regardless of how true these accusations are.
Sticky & Horrendous
I thought after a month I'd master this really horrible brush but I was wrong. I am no liquid liner rookie and have been rocking the cat-eye for the past 7 years but this was tricky to get a fine line or a crisp edge. Brush aside; I wasn't bowled over by the formulation either. It took an age to dry but even after sitting with my eyes closed for a good ten minutes it STILL managed to smudge. A quick clear up with a bit of remover I wore it out and a few hours later it cracked and flaked and just looked absolutely awful with a huge red ring around the liner from irritation. It's one of the only MAC products I've ever been let down with so I was devastated. I'd definitely never buy this again.
High pigment fun!
After purchasing Cherry On Top I want the whole collection and pray that they bring out more! This can be used alone or on-top of any Matte lipstick for a super glossy but not sticky finish. There are incredibly pigmented with the perfect smattering of glitter. Vanilla cupcake scent make these easy to wear without feeling sickly. The gloss doesn't last terribly long but does leave a tint behind hours after the gloss has worn away. This goes so well over Lime Crime Retrofuturist or Centrifuschia or alone for a less high-impact look. Pair with a simple cat-eye for a quirky retro look.
Perfect Pastels!
Gorgeously encased in a super-lux purple tin comes 4 lovely pastel shades and a metallic accent colour that can be used on both face and eyes (who doesn't love a good multi-useage product huh?) Soft and highly pigmented, these shades glide effortlessly over lids and last for around 4 hours without a primer which is a lot longer than powder shadows I've tried before. These shades are perfect for matching with the lipsticks and nails. Definitely fashion for the face! $34.95 for 5 shades that can be used anywhere is a reasonable price but for that price I'd expect the actual thing to HOLD the pans would be a little more substantial than a little bit of plastic. Overall a quirky little palette that can be used subtly or for a more explosive look.
Classic Red
A gorgeous classic red that is perfect for all skin-tones but I felt it to be awfully drying on my sensitive lips. It bled after around two hours even with a lip line fixer but took a lot longer to bleed with using Cherry lip liner. Highly pigmented so only a tiny bit needs to be applied with a brush and it fades relatively evenly perfect for reapplication or even just to go over with a balm for a lovely tint. I'd repurchase this but it's not my go-to red lipstick.
