Beauty Product Reviews
A Godsend
First of all, the shipping is super duper fast. I ordered it last Tuesday and got it on Thursday. That is like, unheard of for me. I also got a super cute letter from Beautylish. I wish I knew who it was from! I love their handwriting. Now after that, the product itself is just incredible. I've never had to bother with spot cleaning my brushes, so I have nothing to compare it to. But now I have jobs coming and reasons to spot clean. So something like this was a necessity. But I have some words of advice to those of you buying it. 1. When using the jar, you don't have to refill the parian once it gets dirty. It still works. I wasted a bit of product doing that, lol. What's nice is that when it evaporates you can see all of the pigment that fell to the bottom. Make sure you wipe it out before you pore more in. 2. Don't go spray happy. I guess I'm just a product waster, haha. One to three sprays on the big face brushes at a time is good, not eight or something, haha. You will have to have a rather large towel to wipe them all off, but it's okay. 3. Jar for little brushes, spray for big fluffy brushes.
That's pretty much it, but I know I would have liked to be forewarned. :) The stuff works really well. The reason I left off half a star is because the smell is really strong. And I'm probably the only one who thinks so, but I swear the after smell is quite "squashy". And I really hate the way squash smells (and tastes). But that's okay, cause the stuff is incredible.
Lasts FOREVER
I have this in the rollerball form. I love rollerballs, I didn't even know they made them anymore, haha. This smells incredibly delicious, and is just so nummy nummy nummy! I roll a little onto my wrists and neck, and I can tell you, it lasts ALL day. Not even kidding. And it smells just so fresh through the whole day, it doesn't fade at all. And even if I put on some lotion or something that would combat it's fragrance, it still smells just as strong. I love this so much. It's $20 at Sephora, and I can tell you, it's definitely worth the price! ^.^
The Sweet Pea ones, lol
So I haven't tried this one, but I've tried the sweet pea ones they have all of the time. I too, was skeptical buying a shampoo from B&BW. But they ended up being super freaking fantastic! Not to mention that I got them on sale, I got the shampoo for three dollars as well as the conditioner. WHAT A STEAL, RIGHT??? I love how this shampoo leaves my hair so bouncy and soft, and not dry in the least! I seriously love it. And then the conditioner is just so, conditioning!!! It makes my hair so fluffy and bouncy and soft! It's hands down the best shampoo I've ever used. Too bad it's sort of hard to find in the stores... lol I'll have to try this one! ^.^
I change my mind.
I used to love these, but as I started using more lipstains, i realized this kind of sucks! >.< I prefer Revlon Just bitten or Covergirl Outlast. :) The tips on these ones arent very great, and they leak into the cap quite a bit. I do like the pigmentation, but they aren't the best if you're just looking for a little bit of a stain. I like more buildable color, so this one is just not my favorite as much anymore.
Not enough coverage, but perfect color!
I bought this the other day. I love how absolutely perfect the color is for me, but It gets so stuck in the bottle. And I don't feel like it gives enough coverage. Of course, it did leave my skin very dewy and beautiful. And it lasted a while. But i just need full coverage, and this didn't give me that at all. :P Good for beginners, but not for me.
I'm so dissapointed.
I figured that this was going to be great! But I bought it, and it just made my nails WORSE! I was so much better off without it, it's going to take a while for my nails to get back to where they were. Using this just gave me more hang nails and made them split. I just couldn't deal with it. I gave it to my mom, and it's working fine for her... I'll just stick to massaging my lotion into my cuticles also. :P
Whipped strawberries
I have this in the shade Whipped Strawberries. And though I absolutely ADORE the color (such a barbie doll pink! ^.^) this product doesn't blend AT ALL. I don't use it that often. But when I do, I only use it on the apples of my cheeks. If I try blending it up into my hairline I just look like a complete idiot because it's just so patchy. It's really hard to blend the color and get it even. Maybe it was just mine, but I don't really like this. :P
Heck yes!
I just bought this today, because I didn't want to buy the Revlon one. I bought the shade Endless Spice. Ah-may-zing! The color was totally beautiful, and it stayed on my lips and didn't budge a BIT. I love how buildable the color is. You can have it intense, or barely there. And you can't even tell it's a lipcolor! It just looks like your natural lips! ^.^ I love this to death. I'll definitely be using this a lot, lot, LOT. :D
This is seriously the best lipstick in the world!
I have centrifusia and retrofuturistic. They're almost out! >.< I want all of the other colors! I love crazy colors! I would love to try the blue and the green. Seriously, such fun colors! And the staying power is CRAZY amazing! And the packaging? TO DIE FOR. And the smell, loooovely. I have absolutely nothing wrong to say about this brand! ^.^
Lasting power is meh.
I love the color! I have the shade Very Cherry, and it's what I'm wearing in my pics. :P It has amazing color. But it takes a couple coats to get it to the right intensity. And then I have to keep applying it every little while if I want to keep it there. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. It's just not very practical. I prefer Lime Crime Lipsticks.
