Vegan, Buffy, Exfoliating, Creamy, Dream Exfoliator
As a vegan, I am hesitant to purchase products with names that start with "butter" in the title. Double checking the ingredients, I recognized that it was indeed vegan, and certified as well. Lush vegan products have a (V) for clarification. When a vegetarian brand goes out of their way to have mostly vegan products, I definitely make it a point to use only the vegan products for sure. This product doesn't even contain honey...
Getting on, this is a gently exfoliator, and still gets the job done right...I have dry skin, and this still leaves me clean, with a little cream left on my body to nourish it.
I appreciate these little eggs
I love these little egg shaped chapsticks.....its very conveinant to have a couple, and they smell great. They are easy to store, and I keep a couple around the house (I have dry lips and a dry mouth) I love the flavors (lemon drop, and strawberry sorbet...) my only complaint is that they aren't slick and creamy enough, because yes I am (my mouth) that dry.
I love this vegan soap, so cleansing
Smells great, super cleansing!! It doesn't have a thick goopy lather, but that is a plus considering lather comes from Sodium laureth sulfate which is harsh and drying on the skin...I love that this bar of soap lasts long. To get the most of this, keep it in a cool area when not in use. Its lavender sent is super calming, and has just enough granules to gently (very gently) cleanse the skin...removes eye makeup without irritation, you can practically open your eyes without feeling that shampoo tingling burning blinding death sensation...great for troubled oily skin. You can buy as little or as much as you desire depending on your budget. I usually get $10.00 at a time, and it lasts for 3 months, as I store it properly.
These palettes are a must have! cruelty free, and so affordable
At the drugstore so many brands test on animals...its kind of mind bottling for a vegan or someone who wants to be a cruelty free shopper to weed out all the brands that aren't Leaping Bunny approved. This year, Wet N' Wild just earned the Leaping Bunny stamp. (see back on all products marketed for 2012 for the Leaping Bunny head :)) So pigmented and amazing, and won't break your purse strings, unless you buy everything, and back ups in one trip.
Great Makeup Remover for vegans, Love The Smell
I love these makeup remover towelletes.Yes To Cucumbers is one of my fave lines from Yes To, and Yes To Carrots is runner up, because it contains honey. I love the cucumber line most, not just bc its vegan, but the smell is amazing. It feels like I am at a spa. I love that Yes To often has sales, and I can get my shampoo, some makeup remover, and a balm all at once.
I love these nail paints, their unique finishes, they match the occ lip tars & I love that they are vegan!
These nail paints have a jelly like finish. I find that they mimic gel nails. That being said, they aren't creamy and super opaque, but that is part of their charm. Most of these if not all are paired up with a matching OCC Lip Tar.
I got this to support Julie G.
I watch Julie G. because I think she has killer tutorials on YouTube. After seeing that Jessie's Girls cosmetics teamed with Julie G. for a collection, as I always do, I support my fellow gurus where I can when they have a new line of cosmetics (if they are cruelty free, or for a cure, benefit, or a magazine article) and thought I would try em. They are super affordable, and often on sale. These nail paints are super opaque, and dry quickly. I have about 4 now, and I think they are great.
I love crackle polishes
I love this crackle paint, one of my favorites. I saw a girl on YouTube from Ireland use it. Knowing some ppl from the UK, I used my connections to swap with her, and recieved one of these. These come in an impressive array of shades. She sent me the blue one. I feel this has the most even crackle. My advice when using these crackle paints is to wait for the base color to become solid, even for 24 hours as the case can be, before top coating with crackle for best results.
I personally love this pen, nourishing, soothing, $1.00, & vegan
As a licensed cosmetologist I feel this pen is a great over the counter item. There are harsher cuticle treatments out there for ppl to get their hands on, which I personally don't think is the best "over the counter" idea. Cuticle treatments can cut skin, and your hands, and just should be used with care. This product is very nourishing, and inexpensive. Made from oils from natural things like avocadoes, and almonds, I feel this pen is more than meets the eye. Shocking that its a mere $1.00.
Love The Range, The Collections, & Opacity
Orly has quickly replaced my once loved China Glaze. These run a couple dollars more than the China Glaze Nail Lacquers. Worth every penny personally speaking. The opacity, colors, finishes, and formula have similarities to Zoya at times, and that is what I love about Orly. The two brands (Zoya and Orly) are not identical, however, each has its own identity. I also love the fact that Orly has different charities and proceeds surrounding the nail paints very often.
