A great new invention...cruelty free, paraben free, fragrance free, sulfate free, phthalate free!

I bought this thinking it was a lashline rimmer, or some form of close to the eye eyeliner. Being that its 2012, and I just turned 27, I am looking to over haul some of my beauty basics...wanting new items, especially paraben free, and chemical free, or as close as I can get (cruelty free always a must, and vegan wherever possible) I opted for what I believed to be an eyeliner. I watched some tutorials, and contemplated keeping this. I decided to give this a go, after seeing the models eye lashes blossom in the tutorial by Sephora, since she was of course demoing. Another newer blogger gave it a good rating, and I was too excited about my first Hourglass product...snapping it open, and trying it on, I decided it was a new match for making my lashes cat eye like. This is ideally suited for mascaras that aren't too sticky, wet, gloppy...etc. Be sure to apply mascara as usual, and choose a thickening volume if that is what you like...as this lash lacquer is more of a volumizer.

Favorite Paraben Free & Cruelty Free shadows...the palette size doesn't hurt...

The 5 pan palettes are my most used palette size. I have more of this palette size than any other. I love the 5 pans, bc they are easy to hold, especially for a blogger who does mainly tutorials...(myself) I love that I can create an all around great eyeshadow look and many more to come, and all in one neatly created palette. The Inglot shadows are buttery, soft, powdery, but never dry or cakey...gorgeous!

This was my first Urban Decay Palette

This was my first UD palette. Urban Decay has many shadows, and it can be tough to decide on getting only one. I usually go for the palettes, and rarely buy the singles, when I do buy the singles its a must have color...however, more often than not, the color I had to have ends up in the next palette. Although some of my Urban Decay eye shadows are replicas or exacts (bc I own so many palettes now) I still look forward to the new palettes, bc these shadows last forever, and all my UD looks are high color, high shine, and oh so buttery to blend, :)

Helps Turn Teenage skin to perfect skin

After a week of making my troubled skin smell like cupcake batter, my skin was almost 100% clearer. All that was left behind was some personal scarring. It dried out the toxins and zits without making my skin rough or itchy. After a week of using this, I was able to scale down to every other day and then every 2 days once it was in control. Its hard to find a vegan cupcake, so this fresh face mask more than makes up for it!!

This is the only Urban Decay Gloss I Like...can't believe it love it!

So this is the best gloss urban decay carries in my book. The packaging is slender enough to easily fit in a clutch. Yet it still has a nice decadent lid, so it matches the design of their lipstick. Perfect if you are a packaging person, and a collector. The formula is a nice lightweight non sticky gloss. Yet it is not so runny that it goes all over. I love that the scent is peppermint, and this allows it to gently fill out or plump the lips. This has no tingler or other plumper other than the peppermint oil scent, which is a nice surprise. The reason I don't like other Urban Decay glosses is bc they are sticky, gooey, ease out the package, don't last, and have over the top sweet smells. I dislike sweet smelling glosses, so I give this one two thumbs up. Its definitely their most mature and well designed gloss.

Not in love

To be honest, I don't care for these. I don't think the pigmentation is great. I think they dispense horribly. These are hard to use. I don't recommend them, and they are all really glittery, and don't stay on the lid after application.

Many Great Dupes to mac in this kit

Too Faced serves it up again, with this great kit of TF faves. I love that they create kits with popular items, and often deluxe samples, if not the real size...the items in this kit are ideal for a bridal look or event. The bag is for packaging sake, but who doesn't love that its handy at the same time? The glamour gloss is plumping, yet it doesn't burn as bad as some tinglers, and has a nice scent. The opacity is great, non sticky, and creamy, I have many colors of the glamour glosses, and I wear them all the time. The TFSI will lock the lovely shadows into place. The shadow kit is small, and slim and is easy to store. It has many MAC replicas, as far as tone goes, but I love that these are creamier still than MAC shadows. Lip Insurance is also a staple in my bag, and doesn't dissappoint. The primer provides a glow, and keeps foundation in tact. The names of the products don't hurt either. I would give this 5 stars completely if they chose to put a different mascara in the kit, I think this is my least favorite formula of theirs. This one, and the one that lights up is dissapointing, considering the hype.

I love these vegan friendly mineral lipsticks

The opacity of these is fantastic. I like the color selection, and the fact that they are reasonable, and vegan. I own Cheerful Cherry, Natural Nymph, and Party Pink. The only issue I have with these is the durability of the wear (but that is normal for vegan lipsticks to wear off fast) but since they are vegan, it is what it is. The color selection could have brighter tones. I love that these don't smell funny, if at all. The packaging does resemble NARS. Which is kinda nice. Just keep an eye on the cap, they don't lock well.

Vegan Friendly, Affordable Travel Brushes

I give these a pretty fair to good rating because they are super affordable, obtainable, vegan friendly, and work well. These are also great for travel. I think these are great in any kit, wether you are a collector looking to go synthetic with your brushes (these were my initial investment in vegan brushes) or a beginner. There are nice shapes that will get the job done, and produce beautiful work. The handles are short, and don't work well in a brush roll, so keep the case it comes with for proper storage if you are OCD about your makeup storage like me. I didn't give it 5 stars, because there are other vegan brushes I prefer, but these are a great way to go. These also don't have as many shapes as I would like, but most women would probably benefit from the simplicity of these shapes, and get more use from this kit than a large kit with "odd shaped brushes." Most women only use 5 brushes ever, so I think it will work for most. Also my ET Kabuki broke, and one of the powder brushes absorbs more of my face powder than I would like (Inglot YSM, which is of course soft and silky to begin with) so I tend to favor the ELF Stippling Brush from the studio line when it comes to face powder.

I do rate these high, and they are super affordable, love the color selection

I do give these a pretty good rating, because I think they are a great deal, the color selection is amazing, ranging from colors that are demure, to super vibrant. The value is more than great for the money, I think every makeup artist and makeup enthusiast should try these before turning their nose up at "drugstore" makeup. These are often on sale, and I love that. I own many colors like Margarita and Castle. The round lipsticks are similar to that of the Black Label formula. These don't test on animals as stated on the website, but I am not positive if they are a 100% vegan formula, but they do act like a vegan lipstick. Most shades are sheer (like a vegan lipstick) so its promising that they are veg friendly. These are super glossy, and shiny. The don't dry out your lips. I rate at 4 stars rather than five, (not because of opacity, as that is a given) because they may contain beeswax, and there has been some issues with the shipping at NYX website, so I haven't tried the new formulas or colors, and I haven't purchased from the site directly in a while.
