My Favorite Lip Scrub!

I was first introduced to Fresh Sugar Lip Polish when I was trying on lipstick colors at a makeup counter. My lips were embarrassingly dry and the lipstick looked horrible on my flakey lips! The associate who was helping me immediately recommended the Sugar Lip Polish and had me try it right there and then. After gently scrubbing it on and wiping it off with a damp paper towel, my lips were INSTANTLY smooth, soft, and free of any dry skin! It was an instant lip exfoliation! Also, as others have mentioned, it had really sweet and yummy taste (like brown sugar). Ironically, I ended up leaving with the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish rather than a lipstick.

The container may look really small, but it will actually last you a good amount of time (almost a year for me)! Each application requires only a small amount of the sugar formula and can be used about twice a week (or whenever needed). I find that the sugar scrub works best by using it right before you sleep and applying a lip balm directly after to maintain moisture in your lips. Out of all of the amazing Fresh products I've tried, this is one of my favorites and would recommend this to anyone who has dry lips!

BEST Nail Strengthener, EVER!

I swear by OPI's Original Nail Envy. It is the best and the only nail strengthener that has given me stronger nails. I have very, very thin and weak nails that constantly peel, bend, chip, and break easily. I finally took the time to do some research to find "the best nail strengthener" and I found that OPI Original Nail Envy popped up everywhere with high reviews. So, I decided to try it. Sure enough (and to my surprise), after a few applications, my nails were becoming significantly stronger and were able to grow out, without any chipping or breaking!

I apply two thin coats of Original Nail Envy under my nail polish. Some say to apply additional coats throughout the week, however, since I wear mine under my nail polish, I find that the two coats is enough to last throughout my manicure. I understand that it is more expensive than other nail strengtheners in the market, but this is the ONLY one that has worked for me and has consistently given my nails amazing results. The bottle lasts a long time and the formula stays consistent with every use. Overall, it's well worth the price if you're determined strengthen your natural nails!

The Perfect Mint Shade

'Flowers in Her Hair' is the most adorable shade of mint, not too blue and not too green. It's a more subtle shade but will definitely add a pop of color to any look.

Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer is my all time favorite brand of nail polish. They go on easily and smoothly, making it easy to control when applying to the nail. All the 'creme' colors are especially amazing because they really do have a 'creme' texture and they provide full and even coverage with every coat.

My Jack Russell and I LOVE Wen!

Wen is the most AMAZING product that ever happened to my hair, and also for my Jack Russell Terrier (his skin and fur). We both use the Pomegranate and Cucumber Aloe and both have an refreshing scent to them. At first, I honestly did not like this product. I was not used to washing my hair with what seemed like a conditioner. It took me a few months to get used to (going back and forth from Wen to regular like shampoos). Eventually, as I got used to this non-lathering shampoo and used it more, I started to notice my hair becoming much softer and even the bleached/colored parts of my hair started to look healthier.

Since it's an all natural cleansing shampoo/conditioner and heard that it also works well on animals, we decided to use Wen (Pomegranate) for my adult Jack Russell, who has very sensitive skin and had horrible rash at the time. Amazingly, after consistently washing him with Wen, it cleared his skin of rash and helped his fur to grow back fuller and thicker than ever before! We were able to get rid of his antibiotic medication and prescription shampoos and also lessen the amount of vet visits. It was so nice to see him comfortable again.

It's been a few years and we both still continue to use Wen products. I completely understand that it feels different at first, but I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a healthier scalp and hair. You can first use it as your conditioner (after applying your choice of shampoo), and then make a gradual transition from there. It's well worth it and it's everything your hair (or fur) needs conveniently all in one bottle!

Amazing top coat for the first several uses, however...

Seche Vite is a super fast dry top coat that leaves you with a super shiny and glossy finish. For the first several uses, it really works great for those who are on-the-go. However, I find that when you reach about half way down the bottle, the formula starts to get really thick and goopy, making it difficult to apply a nice thin layer of top coat. If you choose to continue to use this top coat, I would highly, highly recommend to purchase the Seche Vite Restore with it in order to maintain a nice liquid consistency throughout the entire bottle. Another problem I had with Seche Vite is that I find that it shrinks, a lot. (Shrinking meaning that the top coat starts to pull away from the nail edges)

Overall, I do find Seche Vite to be a great product and feel that it does provide the a beautiful finish, but I personally just can't stand the shrinkage.

The Cutest Nail Polish!

I purchased the '306' Anna Sui nail polish and the color looks exactly how it's shown in the photos. This glittery pink/coral shade is my go-to color for spring and summer. All of my Anna Sui nail polishes consistently had great quality and the formula allows you to apply smooth, thin coats that provide great coverage. I never needed to apply more than two coats with Anna Sui polishes for a full coverage (even with the 082 all glitter color!). They also all smell amazing, definitely unlike any other nail polishes I've tried. Well worth adding these adorable polishes to your collection.

Great powder for a natural brow look

I absolutely love the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo! I chose the color 'Dark Brown' to match my dark natural hair color/roots. It is a very Because I tend to get oily throughout the day in my T-Zone areas, many other brow powders would start to smudge or look painted on after a couple hours of wear. This powder, however, keeps a very natural look and stays on all day long. I find it looks best when applied with an angled eyebrow brush (darker shade on the outer side and lighter shade on the inner portion), then blended in with a spooley (which will lighten up the brow color to create more of a natural look). And of course, I always complete my brow look with the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to set them and to keep them looking polished and groomed.

My Perfect Match

Out of all the foundations I’ve tried over the many years of wearing makeup, I have finally found my perfect match! I have fair skin with a warmer undertone and the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade #04 fits me perfectly. I have been using this foundation for about a year and had just recently purchased my second bottle, which is one of the first things I love about this product; a little goes a long way! Just one or two pumps of this product during each application provides me with a full, flawless coverage giving me a silky smooth and dewy look that lasts, even with my combination skin type. When I want a slightly more matte look, I apply my favorite Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder which also helps to hold the foundation in place for long periods of time. The Luminous Silk also works great with a BeautyBlender sponge which allows for quick and easy application. Lastly and most importantly, because I tend to have sensitive skin, I am happy to say that this foundation does not irritate my skin at all. Overall, amazing foundation!

Bye-Bye Brush, Hello BeautyBlender!

The BeautyBlender sponge is by far my most favorite makeup tool, ever! If you're looking for a fast and easy way to apply your liquid foundation, this little pink sponge is a must-have! I use the BeautyBlender to apply my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation by first making the sponge damp with water and then using it to lightly dab and blend the foundation all over my face. This application gives me the most flawless, light-weight finish without having to worry about looking cakey or having streaks. The BeautyBlender is the softest sponge (compared to other beauty sponges I've tried) and feels gentle when applying product onto the skin. It's ultra softness and pointed-tip shape is also great for getting to those tight areas, such as your nose and under yours eyes, ensuring that your distributing foundation evenly on all areas of your face. The Solid BlenderCleanser also makes it very easy to clean your BeautyBlender and will help to keep your sponge lasting longer.

An Eyebrow Essential

This is an everyday MUST-HAVE for me. The Anastasia Clear Brow Gel is the cherry on top for perfect eyebrows. This brow gel is easy to apply and keeps my brows held in place and looking groomed all day long. It applies on clear and dries clear without looking too stiff becoming flaky. I also find that it helps to hold my Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in place. Even for those who don't color in their brows, this gel can shape your natural brow hairs helping to create a more polished look. Best of all, a little goes a long way with this product so this container with last you a long time!
