Beauty Product Reviews
Awesome!
I'm in love with this foundation! I'm in shade 110 Ivory, which is slightly pinkier than my skin, but it's not that bad. I have the normal/dry skin formula and it's amazing. 1. Applies beautifully - I do prefer to apply this with my fingers, as I find it gives me the most natural results. But I've applied this with a sponge (both a normal one and a beauty blender) and a fluffy foundation brush and it applies very easily and it blends without too much work. You do need to work in small sections, especially with a sponge or brush, because it dries fast. 2. Stays on like a dream - it is definitely a long lasting foundation. I've worn this on a day when I applied it at 4am and took it off at 11pm and it was 95% intact and looking good. It is water resistant, I've worn it with no worried on rainy days and it stayed put. 3. It offers any kind of coverage you want - it can be sheered out to give a very subtle coverage, just to even out the skin tone, and it can be applied to give full coverage, if you need it. It is buildable and I don't find it to look cakey. You might want to avoid applying too many layers on areas where you don't need them, especially if you have very dry skin. It is pretty difficult to get off your makeup brushes, though. Be aware of that. Since it is quite water resistand, you need extra measures to clean it off. I find that the sponge is easier to clean, just with plain old soap.
I have this in Vintage. I've used it for my New Year's look and the colour stayed on beautifully, I haven't had any creasing or fallout. I did use it on top of a primer AND a base colour and I sprayed my eyeshadow brush with MAC Fix+ and I applied the eyeshadow with a patting motion and not a swyping one. I was able to blend the edges into the rest of the makeup without much effort. So yeah, kudos from me, at least for this shade.
Great
I'm loving this! I love the shade, it's light enough, I love the texture and the finish, the staying power. It has buildable coverage without looking cakey, which is great (and I have dry skin at the moment). It's not completely matte, so it doesn't look fake, it looks like skin. I haven't had breakouts from it, I haven't had it oxidise (which was a huge issue for me, as it only matches my skin tone as it is in the bottle). I have worn it on New Year's Eve and it was still intact when I got home (I did set it with Fix+, but that's it). So yeah, I'm extremely pleased with it and I will be repurchasing this foundation.
First of all, I love that it's light enough for me! It's a looot fairer than any other NW15 product, which works wonders for me. I like that it doesn't cake up under my eyes. I don't need a great amount to cover up my under eye circles (and I have some problems in that area). I do think that it's not enough coverage for someone with really, really dark under eye circles. But for me, it's great. I do need to set it with a powder for it not to set in my fine lines, but once I set it, it stays put and I don't have to worry about it. It is not the best option for people with really dry skin. I can't use it during the winter for any other area aside from under my eyes, because it tends to cake up a little bit and emphasise my dry patches. During the summer it's all ok, though. I love that it doesn't take much to do the job. I've had it for a year now and I have not consumed a lot at all. Which means I am not sorry for the price I paid.
Amazing!
I was absolutely shocked when I tried it on and it matched me! Just like many other reviewers here, I have an extremely hard time finding a foundation light enough for me. Aside from the gorgeousness that is the shade, it's a really nice foundation. I don't feel it on my face, which is very important for me. It gives me a natural finish and it doesn't look like I have something on. I do have to moisturise heavily during these winter months, given that I have dry skin now, but with a good moisturiser underneath, the foundation looks absolutely gorgeous and natural. I imagine than normal, combination and even oily skin types have it even easier. I do like that it's not a full coverage foundation. I like my skin to show through a little bit. If I need extra coverage in an area, I just layer the foundation and it's all good. It does oxidise a tiny little bit, but only in the first 5 minutes and then the colour remains the absolute same throughout the day, which is good. And the difference is really not significant. So, all in all, I love it and I use it with great joy and pleasure.
This is an amazing product, I love it! I got it in the shade Spotlight and it's the perfect highlight for my fair skin. It's not too shimmery, so it doesn't give that over-the-top look, it can be perfectly worn on a daily basis. It's so creamy and nice, I apply it with the tips of my fingers and it's awesome. Not to mention the amazing smell!
I love these! I have three shades: Coral, Tea Rose and Rich Red. I was very surprised at how moisturising they are, being matte lipsticks after all. I was a bit scared that they might dry out my lips and make them look all cracked and nasty, but they definitely didn't! They're extremely comfortable to wear, the only downside being that they don't last as long as I would've wanted them to. Tea Rose is the only tricky shade, I think. It's quite a mauve-ish colour, it's not really for everyone. I think it looks good on my fair skin, but it might look a bit corpse-like or ill on others.
There are actually two shades for this: Erase&Conceal (yellow, blue, green and pink) and Neutralise&Brighten (light peach, green, pink, peach). I have them both. I prefer the Erase&Conceal one as my skin is too fair for the peach correctors in the other one. The yellow concealer works so well on my under-eye circles! And the pink is amazing, it really brightens any dull areas you might have. I haven't used the blue, as I don't have any orange-y spots on my face and I'm not the biggest fan of the green, simply because it doesn't cover that well. I find that they are quite lightweight and nice. Slightly oily, so people with very oily skin might want to avoid them.
Awesome
I love it, it's very light and feels so good on the skin. It has a decent amount of coverage and what I love best about it is that it adapts to my skin tone (I'm vey fair and have trouble finding something that matches me). It actually helps keeping my skin clear and moisturised, which is amazing, since I have normal to dry skin.
By the way.. I use one pump per application and so far it's been more than 3 months and it still hasn't shown signs of emptying. I'm curious how much it'll last. [later edit: it has lasted me 6 months]
