good for travel

I used this for years in conjunction with Seanik solid shampoo. While I do love the smell, breaking off pieces to mash it into a paste isn't ideal when you're in a rush or half asleep. I didn't find it to be overly hydrating for my hair, nor did I find it to make a noticeable difference when it came time to untangle my hair. Since releasing the pucks that fit in the steel tins, it's made traveling with these babies much easier. If you have normal or oily hair, you might like this a lot. For the rest of us, it's really nothing special.

FAVORITE LIP LINER

I'd like to branch out and try other lip liners, but these are just too good for me to even bother, haha. I have several colours and I use them all the time. They are nice and smooth when applied with great pigmentation. I do have some trouble with Magenta sometimes is tough to work with, but when I warm it up it works much better. They are all very long lasting and can easily perk up any lip look. Love!

MY PRIMER OF CHOICE

I have extremely oily lids, and this is the only thing that holds up for a full day and even into the night. I also really like that it is coloured, so it evens out any discoloration on my lids, while not being too shimmery. Both powder and cream shadows blend very easily over it. One tube can last me over a year. It's pretty amazing stuff!

BEST POWDER I'VE USED

I don't usually use powders because I don't like the finish. This has a really beautiful finish and blends into the skin really well. This stays on SO WELL. I can take my makeup off after wearing this for a dozen hours and I can see it coming off pretty thickly on my makeup wipes at night. This works really really well as a setting powder as well. I haven't bought any in a while, and would like to repurchase for sure. My only complaint that sometimes it did feel like it was drying my skin just a tad. I don't really mind though. The coverage is super great, very build-able. I've worn it really sheer or really heavy and it always looked good. Love this stuff!

BEAUTIFUL AS A HIGHLIGHT AND AN EYESHADOW

I realllllllyyyy love Albatross. I even named my light gold coloured car Albatross because it reminded me of this highlighter. This works best on warm tones, but I'm cool toned and I think it still looks good, especially in the summer. I use this sometimes as eyeshadow as well. I love the golden sheen it gives. The wear on this is quite long, so you can look glowing all day or all night! :D

GOOD NUDE

I generally hate nudes on myself, but this one was quite nice. It's not too pale to make you look dead, while offering a pink undertone. It looks good with any gloss throw on it. The lasting power is pretty good and the consistency is quick thick. It covers pretty opaquely, you really don't need much. I really hate the scent on these though. When I have it on, it's all I can smell and taste and it's unpleasant. When it expires the scent gets even more nasty, which I guess is just more incentive to stop using an expired product, but you never get to the end because there is so much product in the pot. I'd like it better if the scent was changed or eliminated.

A BIT TOO WAXY

I love the mintyness of this lip balm. It's nice and soothing for chapped lips. The soothing feeling wears off pretty quickly though. Although I do find it hydrating, I find it sits on the lips a little too much because it is so waxy. It doesn't quite hydrate the way I wish it would, which makes me reach for something else when I need some lip therapy.

WEIRD SCENT

This is nice and moisturizing. I buy it because it's always for a really great cause. When I was in Australia, I got a sample size for 2 bucks, so if you're in the land down under, you want to help contribute to the monthly cause, but can't afford the big jar, try a little sample size! The scent is the only thing that throws me a bit off. It's smells really strongly of chocolate? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's chocolate... It's a bit over powering. I only use this for my hands, I wouldn't be able to handle the scent on my whole body.

REALLY RICH

This has a lovely smell. It's quite nutty smelling, because of the peanuts in it, but it's got a little bit of floral to it. It's really moisturizing and creates a super rich lather when used with a loofa. I don't know if I would get it again though. I think I prefer to use this as a hand soap than a body soap.

GO TO SUMMER SCENT

I really love this perfume. I wear it during the summer because it has a lighter scent. It's a mix of fruity notes along with more floral notes to balance out the sweetness of the scent. It's not too strong so it's not over powering when worn. I also adore the packaging. It's so cute!
