Beauty Product Reviews
When I first used this, I was surprised by the coverage it had. It didn't cover all of it, but more so than other TMs I've used in the past. The one thing I really don't like about this is the feel of it. When I put it on, it's really think and heavy, like it doesn't absorb into the skin. Since I don't really use it as a foundation, I put a primer over it and that seems to help it a lot. Aside from that, I do like it. But I think I'll continue to purchase it off Hautelook when it's up. That $30 price tag is not appealing.
I have these in a few different shades. I'm not sure which, but they are some of my favorites out of my collection. I've only needed one coat to get them to a niceshade (except for the blue I have, that one took two.) I've been topping them with the Avon crackle, which is by far one of my favorites.I recieved these as a present, so I'm not too sure about the prices, but these are definitely a hit with me.
These aren't my favorite in the world, but I'm also picky with lip balms. (Or any lip products really...) They're packaging is creative and I love the smell/tastes of them, but it can get a bit heavy on your lips and doesn't feel like it sinks in. It might just be me? I don't know. I will keep using them, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing.
I have these in two colors at the moment: For Audrey and Towel Boy Toy. The formulas are good and apply nicely. For Audrey is my favorite of the two simply for the color and how opaque it is. TBT is much more sheer and takes about 3-5 coats for me to get it the way I like. I've worn these without a base or top coat, and they've lasted me a good week or so without too much wear. All in all, I do prefer them over other polishes I have, and am planning on buying more. (Just staying away from the brighter colors.)
I use this about once or twice a month when I feel like my hair's gotten too oily/greasy. I like the smell of it. It does take a bit to work it into your hair without using too much of it. And it is very drying if you use too much. For my uses, I like it and really don't need much more. Mostly likely won't be buying it again when it runs out.
I really love this foundation. The color is a bit dark for my skin, but it blends out beautifully. I found it works best when you use it with a cosmetic sponge (I use ones I've had, not the one that came with it.) I've been having trouble finding a foundation that works best with my skin and covering my blemishes. Since using this, I've been using less concealer and spend less time worrying about having my face rub against anything. It feels like there is nothing on my skin when I wear it. Though, it does bring out dry patches, though I don't owrry about that too much. I have have a spot or two now that come out. This also lasts me all day without fading or making me super oily like other foundations.
This has really worked for my blemishes. I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I've seen major decreases in the redness and spots on my face. There was a few days after the irst week when it was getting really bad once again, but it cleared up immediately. Other thna that, I haven't had any problems with it. It doesn't dry out my skin and I feel like it really works on my skin. There are still a few larger blemishes that are being stubborn, but I'm used to that by now.
I have a love hate relationship with this moisturizer. I used it before and found it made my skin too moist. Back then, my ski nwas also a lot more oilier too. Now, I use it again, mostly just on my cheeks and chin. I've found that patting it into the skin also works a lot better than just rubbing it in circular motions helps it sink it a lot easier. hat being said, I do like this moisturizer. It hasn't caused me to break out and has helped my skin stay soft during the winter. I will keep using it.
I really wanted to like this. My friend used it and it worked beautiful. Even after having been pushed into a pool, it stayed in place! Unfortunately for me, it didn't do anything. It didn't stay on my water line or skin. It still use it sometimes just to get rid of it if I'm only going to be running to the store quick. Other than that, it tends to stay in my drawer untouched.
