My Solution to Dry Skin!
After getting Hives from a shellfish consumption overdose (haha!), I was itching, literally, for a quick solution to dry skin. My roommate at the time recommended this to me. I apply it as the last step to my night time skincare routine - I only apply it to dry areas and my under-eye area. Sometimes I'll apply it to my lips but this isn't the best topical ointment for my lips. This is also what I use if I want to apply makeup to the redness that usually comes with dry skin.
Not the best L'Oreal Mascara Out There
I thought this would work great, but turns out it was very average. It didn't hold up my curl, rather it weighed it down. The smell was a little funky, nothing that I couldn't stand though. Loved the intensity of the Black but weighing down my lashes is a big no-no for me.
On top of that, I found out that they test on animals - I'm not sure if this was still true but at the time, that made me throw it out.
The One I Always Go Back To
Despite the lack of shade availability, Medium matches me best and I'm glad that there's a perfect match out there for me! I use this everyday in the Summer, as a replacement for foundation. The texture is a little thick and not as runny, but it's easily blendable. I'll use foundation on areas where I feel I need more coverage. The coverage isn't as great. It's light coverage, but buildable to medium without looking cakey or oily. It dries to a nice satin finish. I can get away with not powdering on a summer day. I only powder when I want it to last for a while. I've tried other tinted moisturizers and tinted moisturizer look alikes - like BB cream and what-not but this is still the one that I always go back to.
Great for a quick clean!
I love this product! It's relatively cheap, at A$20. Its great at removing product without damaging the brushes itself. I'd have to transfer it to a spray bottle! I didn't know that I was wasting too much product with the cap! But then again, sometimes I deep cleanse my brushes with this, I probably shouldn't!
I can't believe how affordable this is! I love how easily this glides on and fills my brows. Because I have very black hair, the black works perfectly and so does the gray. I can control the intensity of the colour depending on the makeup I'm wearing that day. The only thing that bugs me is probably the applicators that come with it, they're very short handled and I find that if I use my EcoTools angled liner brush, it doesn't deliver the same intensity and pigmentation. I'd rather suffer with the short applicators tbh :p
BEST EVERRRR
nothing competes with this! the most volumizing and lengthening mascara i've ever tried. actually, my Chanel Inimitable mascara could probably compete with this but this is an amazing product, considering the price as well. love it.
