HG Going Out Foundation

I don't exactly have just one HG foundation since I look for different finishes for every occasion so this particular MUFE foundation is my HG Going Out foundation.

Because of its consistency and colour, it blends in easily and the colour is a near-perfect match. I can either blend it in with my fingers or with a brush but either way it applies beautifully on to my skin. For me, the coverage is full since I don't have to use concealer with this at all. The finish is satin and dewy and even when I set this with the MUFE HD powder, some of the dewiness still seeps through which is exactly what I like. Occasionally, I *sleep* with this on after a night out. I can't say that it lasts say 12 hours, but typically after a night out, my skin looks better than when I first applied it. It sinks in to the skin beautifully after hours of wear.

HG Cleanser!

I've gone through 2 bottles of this in the past 6 months and I'm not going to ever stop using this. It gently exfoliates my face without drying my face. It keeps my skin supple and moisturised after cleansing with this and the muslin cloth. It removes my face makeup, but not so much my mascara. Eventually, it does remove my waterproof mascara, but not before it stains the muslin cloth. As long as you rinse the muslin cloth after each wipe, it should keep your cloth stain free for more than 2-3 cleanses. Your muslin cloth is never the same after that first use, so that's probably the only iffy thing about this system. Otherwise, this product makes me look forward to washing my face every night. Doesn't feel like a drag anymore! :-) Definitely give this a try. It's so gentle and feels luxurious.

Everyday Mascara

My favourite everyday mascara. Has a little trouble with holding up a curl but I pair it with another Maybelline favourite of mine that's specifically designed to hold up a curl. I feel like I can build it up to give me nice volumized lashes but not so much that I look like I have falsies on. It's a great everyday mascara. The brush is easy to work with and applies like a dream :-)

If I could only keep one thing in my makeup collection, this is it. I bought it on a whim because I desperately wanted a liquid highlighter - was considering the Benefit MoonBeam but that does not even compare to this.

It has a very lovely scent and only comes in one shade - 01 Canvas. I always mix it with my tinted moisturizer or foundation or with my sunscreen. This is how I fake healthy and glowy skin when my skin isn't at its best. I'd repurchase again, and again, and again and again. Forever and ever, Love this product.

Love it, but not 12-Hours.

I have this in Exposed and I absolutely love the colour. Doesn't last for 12-hours though. They are very pigmented and lasts longer compared to other blushes out there but definitely not 12 hours. I love that this doesn't have any shimmer, it gives you a nice matte finish without looking 'flat' if that makes sense.

Love using this cream shadow on its own. The consistency is definitely better than the other cream shadows I've owned. The only thing I don't like though, is that it creases a little bit. But, I'll deal with it. The colour and formula is definitely worth it.

I love this! I can't believe something as inexpensive as Cetaphil is THE SOLUTION to maintaining hydrated skin throughout the day and night. It may feel a little sticky at first, but I just give it a few minutes and let it sink in before I use my sunscreen. I even use this in the summer, but instead of the entire area, I only use it on the areas that are dry. It's still not too sticky or oily. A definite must have for people with dry skin.

This Primer Potion is super pigmented and you really only need the tiniest amount. This dries to a matte finish and it's formula dries to a rather thin coverage - it doesn't feel cakey at all, especially when all you want it to do is even out the redness or discoloration on your lids. I depotted this to a plastic container I found at the drugstore just because with the old packaging, a lot of product would go to waste. Out of all the UDPP shades available out there, this is definitely my favourite. The Original comes second.

A Staple in My Makeup Stash

This is a little different to the one available in Australia. I bought this in the States and it only has one shade, whereas in Australia, it comes in Light and Dark. Despite having only one shade, it works really well and it still blends well. I'd recommend blending this out with a sponge - I use the tip of my dry Beauty Blender (not wet). I used to blend it out with my ring finger, but I find using a sponge and just patting it works better than my own ring finger. My under eye circles aren't too bad but they cover up and brighten my eyes like no other! I'd never go out without this. This is the key to looking awake! (that, and curling your lashes but that's a given! :-) )

Why bother buying multiple eyelash curlers when you can invest in a great one and never worry if your curl will last? This is definitely worth the price and I have never purchased any other eyelash curler since I started using this one.
