Are your products hypoallergenic?
Yes, unless you are allergic to certain types of plants such as soy then you should avoid using the product. Our products are made with only natural ingredients. Since none of our products contain any parabens, synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, dyes, harsh detergents or preservatives, it is friendly to the most sensitive of skins.

Do your products help heal skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis?
We do not guarantee such statements. We believe that our products and our client’s testimonials will speak for themselves. Most of Botanolution’s testing subjects were those who have most sensitive skin, including those who have been diagnosed with eczema and psoriasis. These subjects have noted significant improvements in their skin due to the daily use of our products. We believe that natural skincare, ingredients derived from the Earth, plays an effective role in healing afflicted skin.

Are your products non-comedogenic?
Before answering this questions let’s define what non-comedogenic means. Many skincare companies are using the term, “con-comedogenic” to signify that their products do not clog pores. The practice of this theory implicates that clogged pores causes acne. It is important to note that such claims have not been proven in clinical trials and has not been tested by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Furthermore, acne can be caused by a number of different reasons such as the high presence of streptococcus bacteria on the skin. Therefore, we believe that the term irrelevant and worthless.

I may have had a reaction to one of your products. What do I do?
Calling your physician would be advised.

Are your products safe for pregnant women to use?
Yes. Although some essential oils should be avoided during pregnancy, we only use a very small amount in our products, therefore it is safe. However, if you feel any reaction from using the products, please discontinue use and contact your physician.

I am a Vegan. What products can I use?
Any. All of our products are vegan with the exception of beeswax.

I am intolerant to gluten. What products are gluten free?
All of our products are gluten free.

Are your products organic?
Our Rose Blush is 100% organic. Our other products contain organic ingredients mixed with non-certified organic ingredients.

Are your products all natural?
Yes, all of our products are derived from botanicals.

How do I determine the expiration date of a particular product?
The expiration date varies from product to product. You will find the date on the back label.

What are Botanolution products made of?
Botanolution strives to only use natural ingredients.

Do you test on animals and do your products contain animal-derived ingredients?
No, we do not believe in animal testing and we only test our products on volunteering human beings. We also do not use animal-derived ingredients with the exception of beeswax.

How do you make your products?
All of our products are made by hand, therefore each batch may vary from color and scent. We believe that by keeping our products handmade, we are investing in human resources rather than machines. Our products are also made in the USA and we promise to keep it that way. As a result, this will create more jobs to help stimulate our economy.
