Surprisingly awesome!
At first I didn't get the importance of this tool, but now I can't live without it! It's so useful for getting the details of the brows and lashes right. It's very helpful. Also, the way it folds up into itself keeps it from getting nasty. My other spoolies get bag fuzz all over them so I have to toss them. The spooly is also a bit more precise feeling than the disposable ones. I like that.
*SUPER LOVE*
Billy gave me a set of his brushes years ago and they're all I use! They're also all he ever uses, so I always hope that some of his geniusness will travel through them and create the same amazing magic for me. I love hearing him talk about them-- just the way he describes them teaches me more about how he uses them and what his techniques are. The brushes do an awesome job and they're so easy to travel with because they're small and lightweight. I also love their utilitarian quality, there's nothing fussy or pretentious about their design.
beautiful!
I've worked with powder blushes forever and have been timid to try creme blush. But lately, I've been making friends with creme things and have fallen in love with this creme blush! As I've been experimenting with my fall looks, I've become good friends with Tea Rose for my cheeks and have also started to use it on my lips. It's a super pretty shade. I've been wearing a peachy or pink shade all summer, so it's nice to change it up with something a little deeper in tone.
feels great!
I wasn't so sure about the idea of using a pore product-- it didn't sound like such a good idea. But I've been using this now for a while and have really grown to love it. My fear was that it would cause breakouts, but so far, no catastrophes. It's fun to put on because of the texture (silicon) and it does minimize the appearance of pores. Also, product that I put on top sits well on it, it doesn't get all pilly and weird.
Super love!!!!
Dr. Bronner's is amazing! I've used it all my life and adore it. The label is the best, full of great wisdom and fun things to read. The soap smells clean and good, is all natural and can be used for anything. I recently watched a documentary about Dr. Bronner on Netflix and love it even more now.
Super fun!
I recently got the Flash Palette after tons of friends told me how much they love theirs. The colors are so great and they go on really well. I'm still just getting my feet wet with it and am somewhat new to cream-y makeup, but have really enjoyed what it's done so far.
One friend uses it to do bright color stuff on her eyes and lips and another MUA friend uses it to mix the colors together to make skin tones that are more accurate to a person's tone. So that's quite a range of applications.
Great flexibility!
My MUA friend uses this in his kit, so I thought I would pick one up and give it a try. I love how much it covers while at the same time, putting very little product on the face. I've completely changed my skin prep now that I have it. It allows me to wear much less and I can adapt depending on how sun I've gotten. Before, I didn't really have the right shades/tones if I got too tan. I use the Graftobian sponge to put it on.
**UPDATE** After using this for a couple weeks I'm completely addicted! I've been branching out to some of the other shades for adding a bit of blush or to contour and it's so flexible!
Great Colors!
In my endless search for interesting, colorful lip shades I found Ka'oir and quickly ordered several. I tried the green, purple, yellow and white shades. Each of them were really great. They look even better if you can get a matching lipliner going with the color. The white is also really nice to have on hand to mix with other shades to make them lighter.
Great color!
I love my Sweetpea & Fay lip colors. I first found them on a photo here on Beautylish and was excited to see that they carry so many bright hues. They have tons of color in them and a little goes a long way. The smell is like a butterscotch. At first it was a bit weird to me but now I like it a lot. My favorite color is Yeti.
