Beauty Product Reviews
Love, love, love this pencil. It's very creamy and pigmented and the shade Dolly Pink is adorable! I used mine as an all over base colour and put a gloss over the top, it looked great and lasted ages! I will definitely be buying more of these pencils in different shades.
I got this palette the other day in "Not Just Nudes" and I love, love, love the lightest shade in it. It makes the perfect highlight colour for my inner eye and it works nicely as a base colour for my smoky eye. I have yet to try out the other colours but so far the light colour is worth every cent.
This is the first primer I've used so I don't have much to compare to but I really like it. It minimizes my pores quite a bit and makes my skin perfectly smooth, I think I'd try out some other primers before buying this one again as it's more expensive than the foundation and I think there is definitely better products available out there.
I brought this in a bulk pack with the Photo Ready primer and a bunch of other things. I was a little hesitant to try this because I've read some really bad reviews and also because I'm terrible at matching my skin tone to a foundation, but this is awesome. Nude matches my skin perfectly! I'm so happy that I've finally found a tone that looks flawlessy natural on me. The foundation has a nice texture, a little goes a long way and between my Avon foundation brush and a sponge, the sponge gives a better finish (I've yet to buy a stippling brush). I have combo/oily skin and this works fine for me, it's Summer here so I'm perspiring a bit and this lasts 6 or so hours without looking too dewy. I set it with a powder and use over the Photo Ready primer, so if this can look great on a hot summers day then I'm excited to see how it will look in Winter! I would buy this product again definitely, I'm very happy with it over all, I don't even really mind the shimmer because my powder dulls it down a lot, but I think the shimmer could give a nice glow in Winter. It's a little pricey but because it goes a long way it's worth it.
So where I live this is pretty pricey but I needed a decent lip balm and had heard nothing but good things about it. I brought the Pink Glow and fell in love, it's such a nice texture, the smell is great and it brings out the natural pink of my lips which is great for days where I want a natural look. The only off putting thing is the price as I go through lip balms quite quickly. But I would buy again!
I brought this because it was on sale and thought "why not". I've always used Clinique blush and adore it so much, I was hesitant to try this one out. I can't say I was surprised by the quality of this product as I have other Maybelline cosmetics that I love, but I didn't expect it to be this good. It is very highly pigmented, I love dark rosey cheeks and usually it takes a few layers of my Clinique blush to build it to the colour I desire, but with this it is instantly bright. I love how smooth the powder is and how silky it feels on my skin. This blush is definitely a new fave.
When I first brought this I was a little hesitant as the texture was different from other balms or glosses I have used. But it is absolutely fantastic, it's smooth, silky, creamy and smells yummy! I wore this over top of a caramel nude lipstick for a wedding and it lasted surprisingly well considering I was drinking bubbly all night, only a a few re-applications were needed. It's not sticky and doesn't really feel like you're wearing anything on your lips, it's very light weight. I'm not much of a gloss wearer but this has turned me.
I love this product! I purchased the reckless colour duo and it is amazing. I've used the purpley brown for my brows and I used the pinky colour for a lip shade with gloss. It's really pigmented and lasts all day, it went on really well, nice and smooth. I little of this goes a long way! And the variety of colours is great. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these in the future (:
