A Classic
My mother has dry, dry skin and I always remember her using this growing up- and on my peeling winter face when we lived up north. I'm a combination girl, and this winter my husband and I are stationed in the midwest where the highs for the day have been in the 20s. I picked this up at our commissary because it was cheap and felt familiar, and I'm glad I did! I first used it only at night, and my skin looked radiant and more even toned in the morning. I was appalled. I thought it was going to break me out when I got it, but I was so desperate for moisture that I didn't care. It's pretty heavy, so I thought I should only use it at night- but I decided on a whim to throw it on anyway in the morning. It absorbs quickly and leaves me not greasy at all! This is going to be a winter staple for me. I am usually oily in my t-zone, so the fact that a rich humectant moisturizer like this works amazingly for my skin is a shocker! I also love the powdery smell, it reminds me of my mother and my grandmother who have been using this product their whole lives. It's around $4 for a giant tub of it and all you need is a very tiny bit, it's more than worth it to have around!
NEW HG.
I am quite the mascara whore, so it says a lot for me to say that a mascara is good. But this one is amazing. I am absolutely in love with it! I find it super comparable to my Tarina Tarantino Fleur De Lash, and it's good for my lashes. As for the growth claims, I have noticed darker and thicker lashes that don't shed as easily. I absolutely am in love with it and I will continue to purchase again and again. I can't wait to pick up the Plumping formula.
Will purchase full size!
I am a big fan of the Long Lasting Glosswear, and when this came in a GWP I was excited to try it out. Raspberry is the most beautiful "your lips but better" shade and it is super moisturizing and shiny! When my sample runs out, I'm going to buy more colors for sure!
Wet n' Wild does it again
I am quickly falling in love with this brand! I picked up Pearlescent Pink from the Color Icon line because I heard it was a great dupe for Benefit's Dandelion. I now reach for this blush more than my MAC one! Love it!
GREAT QUALITY!
I head so many things about these palettes on Makeup Alley, that when I saw them at Walgreens, I figured for $4 I wasn't taking too big of a risk. Well what do you know- I wound up falling in love with them ! This palette is a great shimmery neutral eye palette - I find myself wearing it to work almost every day. I also picked up the Sweet as Candy palette. With a price like this and the amazing quality, I will be going back for more.
