Oh heck no.
OK, ok.. so I'm the idiot that wore a white denim jacket after spraying myself down with this stuff. I was in a hurry and I needed a quick fix- what I ended up with was a big fat pastel-pink/orange-y (completely hideous) mess. I could see how this product might be usefull if you need a quick touch of color for a photoshoot or something- otherwise a huge DON'T! It rubs off everwhere... onto everything... even hours after it's applied. Avoid, avoid... avoid.
Don't be afraid of foam!
After being a slave to the tanning beds I grew a brain and realized I was doing way too much damage in the name of tan skin. With a pasty Casper-status complexion out of the question I reached for Neutrogena's Sun Fresh.
I'm impatient so instead of going with light/fair (which I am naturally) I upped the anty and went with Medium/Deep. EXFOLIATE, LADIES!!! After a good scrubdown lather this on evenly- which is actually pretty easy to do with this product. If you're worried about putting too much in trouble areas like knees, heels, etc, lightly go over those spots with a NON tanning moisturizer first.
The color will develop within hours. Don't be a moron and shower right after you put this on. Wait a good 24 hours before even working up a sweat. And don't forget to wash your hands!! Gently wash the undersides of your hands and don't splash on yourself or you'll streak/get light spots.
This product works even better if you give yourself a light dusting of the Neutrogena micro-mist airbrush sunless tan spray. That product is even better if you only want to use one.
Happy (safe) tanning! and see pic below for the tan I developed from these products!
