"I feel pretty... oh so pretty..."
That's pretty much what's going on in my head while I spray myself down with this new favorite of mine. It's so girly and floral- I just love it. In fact, I sometimes like to spritz my sheets and pillows before bed. I always wake up feeling all warm and fuzzy inside (and smelling good, too).
Smells better than it works.
Kinda weird, but true. I got a sample of this from Sephora and was pretty stoked to try it out. Truth be told, I was kind of disappointed. The brush is large and has nicely spaced bristles but the consistency isn't on par with, say Benefit's Bad Gal or Lancome. The black is pretty black but for the price I'd go with something else.
Best investment.
I have the perfume in full size but the real deal was the rollerball. For $20 it seems to have lasted even longer than the bottle. I've seriously had it forever and it's so great that it fits in my smallest makeup bag. I carry it everywhere and use it constantly. Just for funzies put on some unscented body glitter and roll it over the area. Your perfume will now be all sparkly inside the bottle... and you'll smell good : )
Delightfully smooth...
just like me. HAaaa! Ok ok, all jokes aside, this is a great moisturizer. It absorbs immediately and isn't greasy at all. Better yet, it doesn't FEEL like it contains dimethicone. That's the stuff that supposed to hold the moisture in your skin but usually makes mine feel like it's suffocating under a rubber forcefield. The scent of this is also lovely. My boyfriend is now hooked too, even with the hefty pricetag. That says something right there!
Delivers.
Oh, it's a miracle you want? Done. I couldn't be happier with this product. I have like, the worst skin in the universe, and this product is single handedly making it better! I added this into my routine a few weeks ago with low expectations. Most products totally disappoint me and usually only deliver a face full of new acne. But this has actually done a great deal to clear up my problem areas! It also feels great to have a nice, clean start in the morning before I put my sunscreen on. I'm stocking up.
Good Stuff!
And it smells good, too! I love how my Mac Lipsticks glide on- yet stay put. They're the perfect consistency for mixing too. When I'm really trying to class it up and go for that porno look I do a heavy smokey eye with their Kohl liner and super light lip in Hue (baby pink) topped with Lipglass in Underage.
If you flat iron your hair you need to invest in this.
Not only do I torture my hair with flat irons and curling irons, but I like to bleach it, so it's particularly fickle. CHI has a ton of great products, this one being no exception.
After conditioning with whatever product I'm using for the week I slather on some CHI Infra Treatment. Then more conditioner (I know- that probably cancels out the CHI product but it seems to be working for me so I'm gonna do that). Then I get out of the shower and apply CHI Keratin Mist. And finally I top it off with Straight Guard if I'm planning on going straight that day.
This isn't a set routine, mind you. I use less or more of these products depending on how my hair feels in the shower. But as far as products go in general, CHI rarely disappoints.
Good stuff.
I was pretty pissed when I saw this sitting on the shelf at TJ Maxx the other day... for $14.00. I'd just shelled out twice that at a salon "sale." So definitely get your Maxxinista on, before you get ripped off like I did. What I can't complain about is how it works. I bleach the crap out of my hair like every other week and I'm pretty sure this stuff is the only reason I'm not half bald.
The conditioners are even better. I like to use this with the K-Pak Reconstruct as well as the regular conditioner. My hair seems to respond better if I mix it up in the Shampoo/Conditioner department but I don't see this falling out of the rotation any time soon.
Jessica Simpson (reportedly) used this...
so of course I ran out and bought some too. This was right around the time her trampy bikini video came out... where she looked fantastically bronzed, btw. I was not disappointed by this product. In fact, it's so thick and wonderfully bronze I actually had to dilute it to get any kind of natural look. And what better product to tone it down with than Jessica's own Body Whip Cream (rememeber those??!!). Such a shame that line didn't pan out. But at least Body Bling (and my fake tan) survived.
