Affordable, last all day...
But it doesn't hold my curl all day. My lashes are long and heavy-like, so a washable mascara won't do,I have learned. I LOVE the brush though! It's perfect for my lashes, doesn't clump at all.I feel as though it gets each and every lash! Now, I can't find this mascara anywhere, so I use the mascara brush as a lip exfoliator, since it's rubbery and soft, unlike regular fiber mascara brushes. This is a great product if you're in a rush, and don't have the time to curl your lashes!:)
I have the newest packaging, but I still don't like it...
It takes too long to dry, it smudges, and it doesn't last long either when I set it with a black eyeshadow on top. I love using liquid eyeliners because they are more convenient and more comfortable when it comes to applying. This product does the job, but it doesn't do the job good enough....
I just bought another palette from them, and I love it!
I got mine at Walgreens for $4.99, in Petal Pusher. Being that October is Breast Cancer month, I decided to get this palette that had different shades of pink and purple. The browbone colors arent as pigmented as I would have like them to, but it is just a highlight, and its buildable to my liking:) I especially love the eyeshadows with shimmer in them, mainly the purple eyeshadows, because they are super pigmented, and stay put with or without primer!
Crazy pigmented, but too fragile!
I have used this eyeshadow only a couple of times, and I LOVE IT! It so blendable, even though its super pigmented! I love the hunter green and the slightly gold shimmer to it. The only thing that sucks is that it is so fragile. I have only tossed it once into my makeup box, and their is a whole corner piece of eyeshadow missing:( All in all I like this eyeshadow for its affordability, pigmentation, and blendability. The soft fragile texture? Not so much.
Affordable, LOVE the Brush!
I never tried NYC's mascaras before, and I thought I would give it a try. It says that it gives you so much percent more of a curl than your regular mascara....WRONG. It didnt give me any curl WHATSOEVER! I weighed my lashes down, and it started to clump on the second application. I love the brush though! It's perfect for my bottom lashes, so that's what I use them for. It doesn't smudge on my bottom lashes, but it does touch my under eyes, so I would clean it up with a q tip, no biggy. I just wish the curl that they advertised for their product was true..:/
Apricot Beige
I don't know if it's even in market anymore, but I have been using this as a base for my eyeshadow look tutorials for the past year. It's blendable, but it gives that extra pigment base I need to help my colors stay longer and not crease. I depotted mine into a random small container since sometimes when I would apply it on my concealer brush, some days it would come off really wet, other times I need to go back once or twice to get it evenly on my lid. I love that its super affordable, and I didn't buy another one yet, since more is less in this product!:)
More Fallout than Pigmentation for me :/
I got mines at walmart (no surprise), and I was so excited to buy them, since I have seen many reviews that gave them a good outcome. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't satisfied. I have been trying to find a really nice gold burnt orange color, and I thought this product would do the job. I applied it without primer, with primer, with primer and a base, I tried it wet, dry. It still came out the same...not enough pigmentation. I was kind of upset since only one hip duo here in Hawai'i is about $8, so I should have been smart and waited for a sale. I had extreme fall out, and the consistency when applying the eyeshadow, it turns out chalky no matter how you apply it. There is more glitter/shimmer, than the color itself. I don't know what I'm going to use it for, but the other color that came with the duo works fine as a sheer highlight under my brow bone. I usually do nice reviews, but this one made me dissapointed. I might buy a couple more anyway, since I've been always wanting their pigments, and their cream eyeliners work great as a base!
I got mine at Walmart, in Tiki, for around $7
I just like it because when you first apply it, it gives me that highlight I have been trying to find this whole time! But the only thing that I rated it at just 4 stars is because it wears off, and some of the shimmer glitter stays on. The glitter isnt so chunky, and not as bad as Hard Candy's Moon glow powder in Luminizing, but I'm in my early 20's, and I think glitter chunks on my face is pretty tacky. I would choose shimmer over glitter anyday, except for when Im in the mood to be artistic:)
Feels natural and smooth to the touch!
I bought mine at Walmart for about $13, which I think is pricey for a foundation this small. I have Neutrogena Skin Care products for acne and blemishes, but I never have tried their makeup products, so this is a first for me. I don't like the fact there isnt a pump, because I think its more sanitary and convenient that way, so you don't waste so much product. I like that is doesnt streak and I don't need primer with this, so it doesnt dry all chalky like. It gives me a medium coverage, and I like that it feels natural like, like there's nothing on my face! I bought this product because I saw it on a youtube gurus video saying it cleared quite a few of her acne, so I wanted to try it to see if it targets any of my random breakouts. I have tried it for a few days and I started noticing breakouts near my jaw, which I have NEVER experienced. But it hasnt broken me out as bad as maybelline's dream smooth mousse foundation. I got mine in Honey beige, as usual, and it matches my skin tone well, which is a huge plus for me since I have a very hard time in committing with other brands of foundations and try to find my shade lol. All in all, I like this product, besides the fact that it broke me out just a smidge. :P
My Holy Grail Mascara!
I have seen a lot of mixed reviews with this products, but I had to try it because I was so curious as to if it would do anything to my filipino stubborn lashes:P I got mines at Target for around $8, and it's in waterproof. I never tried a waterproof mascara before, so I was eager to try it once I got home! Compared to Maybelline's mascara The Falsies that I usually use, I would use Loreals from now on!It holds my curl, lengthens my lashes, and it stays on all day! The only thing that I dont like about it is that it takes forever to come off, and after it makes my lashes feel "dry", so i recommend using a conditioning lash primer or vaseline to your lashes after use if youare really into getting this product:)
