Pretty great!
I'll preface this review by saying that I've never found a mascara that has blown me away. This, however, is a pretty nice one. I do have to swipe a GOOD amount of product off of the wand or else it is all over my face (yuck!) so that's a major con. It doesn't flake, and the Carbon black is STUNNING. Great volume and length, and it wears well throughout the day. Overall I'm very pleased with it. Not blown away, but I use it pretty often! Just make sure to wipe the wand on the side of the tube or you'll have some serious spider lashes. Lasts forever, colors are to die for... what's not to love?
I'm a total convert. I got a bad bottle of Essie polish about 3 years ago and at $8 a bottle I swore I'd never buy Essie again. I'd stare at the gorgeous (far better than OPI) selection of colors and wish that I would be brave enough to break my Essie ban. My friend finally convinced me... thank goodness. In a week I've bought four polishes (Lapis of Luxury, Cute as a Button, Splash of Grenadine and Funny Face) I am in LOVE. The finish is gorgeous, the colors are beautiful and the polishes last much longer than OPI's. I'm an OPI fan all the way and I'm almost waiting for my polish to chip every 12-14 days (seriously!) so that I can redo my nails. Thoroughly impressed. Shimmery, Wonderful, Easy.
I got mine in the limited edition "Let Me Pop." It's a great shimmery pink with gold and copper tones to it and a lot of sparkle. It's great to smooth on with fingertips for a quick eyeshadow. I've worn it with liquid liner out at night and find myself using it every day. It doesn't budge at all either. I'm officially in love.
Lovely
I just bought my first two MAC lipsticks. I got Ever Hip and Brave Red. Both go on smoothly and have incredibly pigment. I would say that if you have lips that chap easily, this doesn't last forever. Then again, most lipsticks don't. No real complaints. I really love this lipstick!
LOVE
I've got three- Strut, Stiletto and Busy Signal. Great finish, great staying power. I use them as eyeliners most of the time. I really have no major complaints, but I did get a little creasing when I wore Strut to prom. Then again, I don't know that ANYTHING would have stayed on well in that situation--- dancing in a crowded, HOT room is no good for eyeshadow.
Does the job
I'm not a huge concealer user, but I like this better than anything else I've used. Matches my skin well, covers dark circles and helps with red patches (I have super-sensitive skin!) and generally does the job. Can get a little cakey, but I add a little moisturizer to my skin to help that. Better than anything else I've tried.
Not enough shades, not enough anything.
A really bleh product, considering how much I like the True Match foundation. This was a goopy, yucky concealer that did nothing for me, and didn't really match my skin. The fairest one had peachy undertones that looked terrible on me. Switched to Benefit Boi-ing and it was WORTH THE MONEY.
Pretty nice
I've tried a lot of bad mascaras lately, and this one has been better than a lot. The tapered brush helps to get allll of my lashes, and the length is great. It's a pretty underwhelming mascara for volume, and it tends to flake by the end of the day. I've tried better and I've tried worse.
