Happy (almost) National Brow Day! In honor of this eye-opening holiday, here are four colorful brow looks that you can wear day or night. Follow the mini tutorials below or just use them as guides to design your own festive makeup. Either way, it’s all about your arches!

Day Looks:

The Blue Brow

  1. Apply Benefit Cosmetics 3D BROWtones in the shade Deep Blue. Gently sweep the spoolie through your hairs to create subtle blue highlights.

  2. Using a royal blue eye pencil, smoke out your lower lashes by sweeping your pencil across your waterline and smudging the color outward along your lash line.

  3. Add light blue highlighter to your tear ducts for a pop of icy color.

  4. Curl your lashes, then apply a lash lengthening mascara or pop on a pair of long, wispy false lashes.

The Bronzed Brow

  1. Sweep the Copper shade of Benefit’s 3D BROWtones onto your strands to create bronzed highlights.

  2. Using a flat eye shadow brush, blend a matte, cinnamon brown eye shadow shade into your lid. Add a matte, earthy red-brown shade to your crease using a blending brush. Finish off by applying a warm gold shade to your tear ducts. You can find these exact shades in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette: Rustic, Sienna and Glistening.

  3. Using a small angled brush, line your lower lashes with a copper-hued eyeshadow to match your brows.

  4. Layer your lashes with a volumizing mascara or add your favorite pair of natural-looking false lashes.

Night Looks:

The Purple Ombré Brow

  1. Create an ombré brow with the 3D BROWtones in Rich Purple. Lightly brush the spoolie through the beginning part of your brow to create subtle highlights. As you approach the arch, start layering the formula to increase color saturation. Your brow tail should have the highest concentration of purple color. OPTIONAL: Before coloring your brows, create extra definition by lightly outlining the shape of your brows with an eyebrow gel.

  2. Apply a matte light brown eye shadow shade to your lid blending into your crease.

  3. Dip a dampened pencil brush into a shimmery lavender eyeshadow shade and apply to the inner corner of your eye for saturated color. Slightly drag the shade from your tear duct into your lid and lower lash line. I recommend using the bright lavender duochrome shade Wisteria from the Viseart Rosé EDIT Palette.

  4. Create a dramatic cat eye using black liquid liner to define your eyes.

  5. Add a pop of purple to your lower lashes by smudging a metallic, dark purple eyeliner into your lash line.

  6. Complete this dramatic eye look with full wispy lashes.

The Bold Magenta Brow

  1. Saturate your strands with the 3D BROWtones in Magenta. OPTIONAL: Before coloring your brows, create extra definition and drama by lightly outlining the shape of your brows with an eyebrow gel.

  2. Dampen a flat eye shadow brush and blend a matte, berry magenta eye shadow shade into your lid. Add a shimmery, earthy brown shade to your crease using a blending brush.Using a detail brush, add a matte, medium brown shade to your outer ‘v’ and blend into your crease. Finish off by applying a shimmery, pink champagne shade to your tear ducts. You can find these exact shades in the Viseart Rosé EDIT Palette: Rosette, Truffle, Café, and Rendezvous.

  3. Line your upper and lower lash line with a deep brown eye pencil.

  4. Finish this glamorous eye look with a pair of fluffy falsies.
