Nicki 2: The Latest Shade Of Viva Glam

Lavender may be a friend to the nose, but how about the lips? We slicked on the new MAC Viva Glam shade by Nicki Minaj and took it for a hoppin’ test run. The shade, bluntly titled ‘Nicki 2’, is an ultra-pastel pinkish-purple — a signature lip color for the sartorially extreme singer who favors bright makeup colors and super kawaii fashions. It may feel soft, but this lip color is not for the faint of heart.

Nicki 2 is creamy and opaque, with a cool undertone. The shade glides on evenly, producing an intense pastel purple that has us dreaming of spring. Because of the lightness of the shade, the color can appear a bit chalky on its own – but this is remedied by the introduction of the new Nicki 2 Lipglass.
