We know we’ll get some classic-yet-distinctive color options for eyes and lips, and some stunning shelf candy to boot. Summer 2014 is no different! Nothing says summer like a subtle glow with oranges and pinks. Here, we went for a sun-kissed citrus-inspired vibe from eyes to cheeks to lips.

We love that these on-trend shimmery shadows—three of which are new this season—are subtle enough to work day or night. Two standouts: 052, a seriously dark metallic black with specks of glitter that would amp up a smoky eye, and 250, a metallic purple perfect for adding a touch of color to a sultry look. The creamy product glides onto lids, stays put, and doesn’t crease.

Sui already has a pretty well-rounded range of classic powder shadows, but you can never have too many, right? For summer, we’re especially into this golden-orange hue. It might look hard to pull off in the pan, but once on, it’s more gold shimmer than hot citrus. An oil-rich base helps keep the subtle sparkles in place, and gives it a wet-look effect. Love!

Protective Lip Gloss

This new gloss couldn’t have come at a better time. With the weather seriously heating up and the sun lingering overhead, we need to keep our lips protected. And each of the tubes, which are sculptural and ornate in typical Anna Sui fashion, is full of a plumping oil–infused formula with SPF 20 built in. That means you get sheer color, moisture, protection, and line-minimizing benefits all at once. Each shade would be a great addition to any kit: 301, a mauve-pink; 400, a translucent red; and 600, a coral-orange.

Glittering Lip Gloss
