PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Lips were the focus at Issey Miyake as statement, colored hats covered half of the models hair. Makeup artist Lucia Pieroni was inspired by flowers, the colors of tulips in particular. The lips almost looked like flowers, with color concentrated on the center of the mouth and blooming outwards.
Makeup
Lucia began by lightly applying Select Cover-Up over hydrated skin to even and perfect skin tone for a natural matte finish. She then blended Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Shadow (available Spring/Summer 2012) over the upper cheekbones, bridge of nose, and eyelids to highlight.
Eyes were left bare, and brows were brushed upwards to groom. For the statement lips MAC Pro Process Magenta Chromagraphic Pencil was applied through the center of the lip and blended outwards. Just before the girls walked the runway Clear Lipglass was applied to the bottom lip and Cupid’s bow for added dimension and shine.
