Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, 2011
Zoe Saldana looked stunning at one of the chicest events to jump across the pond from England, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. A girl has to look chic while pushing in the divots at half-time, and Zoe looked just that in a floaty dress, pink lips, and a chic '20s inspired up-do. Her gorgeous hair was a sweet and subtle combination of a loose bun and wavy curls. We got the scoop from hairstylist Aviva on how she created the look.
Hair
Aviva began by blowing out Zoe's hair using Phytovolume and a Spornette mixed bristle brush for volume. She then gave her a deep side part and started wrapping one inch sections of hair around a 3/4" curling iron from left to right. After the hair was curled, she let it sit to set the curl, and lightly raked her fingers through her hair to soften. She then gathered her hair to the right leaving out the front section for a heavy bang, almost looking like a bob. To finish, she gently pinned her hair up into a soft side bun, adding a final touch of Elnett hair spray.
