Bottega Veneta
MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
A messy, wet-look chignon was the look at Bottega Veneta. The style was developed to contrast the sophisticated, ladylike clothes seen in the spring/summer collection, and looked almost as if models had jumped out of the pool, slicked their hair back into a bun, and ran to get ready for the show. "It's an easy look that anyone can create," said Guido.
Hair
-
Over-apply Redken Full Frame 07 All-Over Volumizing Mousse to wet hair and let it dry naturally.
-
Run Redken All Soft Argan-6 Multi-Care Oil through hair with fingers for added shine (to create a wet look).
-
Use fingers to pull hair back into a low ponytail at ear level. Note there is not a part in the hair.
-
Wrap ponytail into a messy chignon.
-
Apply All Soft Argan-6 Multi-care oil to the crown of the hair for additional shine to create a wet effect.
Makeup
The look at Bottega Veneta was feminine and earthy. Pat blended Cover Girl TruBlend Foundation as a base. She then generously swept Cover Girl Eye Enhancers 1-kit Eye Shadow in Tapestry Taupe across the eyes for a softly shadowed effect. Pat lightly defined the crease with Eye Enhancers 1-kit Eye shadow in Brown Smolder. For a natural flush, Pat dabbed Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Royal Plum on the apples of the cheeks. Lips were left hydrated and natural with Cover Girl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Marble.
