PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
The look at Manish Arora was one of the most dramatic we've seen so far at Paris Fashion Week. With masks of color covering models eyes and intricate stick on eyebrows, the collection was just as vivid with lots of bright color and sparkly effects.
Makeup
Makeup artist Carole Lasnier began with a layer of MAC Face & Body Foundation on the face to even skin tone. She then buffed MAC Studio Finish Concealer into the skin to achieve a porcelain finish. MAC Pro White Full Coverage and MAC Eye Shadow in Gesso was blended through the inner corner of the eyes, browbones, and upper cheekbones to highlight and MAC Powder Blush in Dame and Harmony was blended through the crease of eyes, under cheekbones, and through temples to contour.
To achieve the crazy eyebrows, Carole first used Pros Aide Adhesive to flatten brows to the skin. She blended MAC Pro Emphasize Shaping Powder Pro Palette through brows to camouflage tone and texture and MAC Eye Shadow in Gesso was blended over the eyelid to create dimension. MAC Pro Pigment in Red Electric Neon was used to create the abstract streaked mask design over eyes. Lastly, Intricate brow appliques were custom designed and adhered with spirit gum and MAC Studio Finish Concealer. To finish the look, a layer of MAC Lip Conditioner SPF 15 was applied to lips.
