MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012

Christy Turlington and '90s models were the inspiration for the Aquilano Rimondi show. With a collection of watery, poolside colors on dresses (there wasn't a pant to be seen) the makeup was simple and undone. Perfect for a day by the water.

Makeup

Lottie began with a layer of Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 to hydrate the skin, and then applied MAC Face & Body Foundation over the entire face to even skin tone. Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder was applied through the center of the face to add some polish. She then blended Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Shadow (available Spring/Summer 2012) over the upper cheekbones and bow of the lip to add a highlight. Lottie then applied Something Special Cremeblend Blush over the middle of cheeks and blended downwards. Immortal Flower Powder Blush (available Spring/Summer 2012) was layered over the top for a warm flush.

Lashes were curled before Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Shadow (available Spring/Summer 2012) was blended over the entire eyelid and up to the brows for a high metallic effect. MAC Pro Taupe Powder Blush Pro Palette was lightly blended through the crease and lower lash line to create a soft depth and contour and Lottie dabbed MAC Pro Shine Mixing Medium over the eyelids and crease of the eye with her fingertips. She then applied a slick of Zoomblack Zoom Lash Mascara to define the upper lashes. MAC Lip Pencil in Oak was used to define and contour the lip before a coat of Woo Me Kissable Lipcolour was applied. Lip Clear Lipglass was applied to the centre of the lip to finish.
