“It's like Jerry Hall in the '80s," said makeup artist Tom Pecheux. "Think of an urban, hippie, sophisticated Italian girl." It's a fresh, young makeup with a touch of luxury in shimmery eyes. The collection was all about the retina burning bright colors and joyful patterns, which mixed perfectly with the somewhat neutral face.

Tom began with Care Blends Essential Oil, massaging it into the skin to hydrate. He also applied Mineralize Charged Gel Emulsion (available Spring/Summer 2012), which invigorates and preps the face for makeup. He began the base by patting Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation into the skin with his fingers to even skin tone, and buffed Mineralize Loose Foundation over the entire face to polish and set the foundation.
The eyes were heavily lined, and began with Fascinating Eye Kohl, which was applied through the waterline and upper lashline, then blended outwards to open eyes. MAC Pro Gold Studio Finish Face Powder was gently blended over eyelids and Haute & Naughty Black Mascara was applied through the root of the lash with a 205 Mascara Fan Brush, then applied through both the upper and lower lashes for a full-bodied effect. He kept lips simple with a light layer of Clear Lipglass.
