LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 2012

Australian duo Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton went for metallic textures and burnt amber's this season, with makeup artist Terry Barber citing David Bowie summer glam rock as inspiration for the makeup backstage.

Makeup

Terry began with lots of prep on the models faces at Sass and Bide, starting with MAC Studio Moisture Cream to hydrate and protect the skin. MAC Face and Body Foundation was applied to even skin tone with a layer of Prep + Prime Highlighter in Light Boost to smooth and further brighten skin to perfection. A touch of Pink Rebel Lustre Drops was applied as a warming highlight to cheekbones and Rusty Metal X Cream Shadow was blended over the upper cheeks for a sculpted and bronzed glow. 

A strong brow was achieved with Blonde and Dirty Blonde Impeccable Brow Pencil, which were blended together to create a fullness and give some length to brows. Cork Eye Shadow was also blended through brows to soften the texture and add a little warmth. Venetian Tarnish and Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Shadow were blended together and applied over the eyelids and crease, with a strong intensity through the inner corners of the eyes.  MAC Pro NW25/NC30 Chromagraphic Pencil was used to line the lower waterline to open eyes. Lips were natural with a slick of Lip Conditioner SPF 15.
