HAIR
Aveda stylist Didier Malige styled gorgeous "wet-and-dry" chignons for Sophie Théallet's spring collection. Inspired by the French film La Piscine, the hair is effortless yet sensual. "It's that of a girl who has just gone swimming, as if she has offhandedly pulled her hair back in a chignon and just left it to dry," said Didier. "It reflects her natural and understated sophistication."
GET THE LOOK
-
Work Aveda Pure Abundance Potion throughout your hair to texturize, then brush your hair away from your face with your fingers.
-
Pull your hair back with your hands, gathering everything at the back of the head as if to pull into a ponytail.
-
Twist your hair and coil it into a loose bun, fastened with bobby pins.
-
Pat a generous amount of Aveda Men Pure-Formance Grooming Clay and Aveda Control Paste onto your head, massaging and scrunching to create a matte texture.
-
Smooth sides very close to your head, but leave a little volume on top.
