London Fashion Week, Fall 2011: MAC at Vivienne Westwood

It isn’t your everyday makeup look at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show during London Fashion Week 2011. With models strutting in their mixed and matched outfits, some of the makeup looks at the show looked as though a sugar-induced child went a bit crazy with their magic markers on their faces. Keep reading to see which MAC products were used to create the three different looks at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label F/W ’11 show!



FACE LFW Fall 2011: MAC at Vivienne Westwood Look 1

  • Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation mixed with white Face and Body Foundation– to give the skin a slightly pale, waxen feel cheek

  • MAC Pro Sculpting Cream (available autumn/winter 2011) – for a high blue on the cheeks, and also dabbed onto the temples, nose, chin, ear to make her look a bit cold

  • Dolly Mix Sheertone Blush– worked over the top of the cheek pro sculpting cream, with brush 188

  • Vanilla Pigment– down the centre of the nose, the cupid’s bow, centre of the forehead and in a c-shape around the eyes, to give the skin a strobe-y look

  • Gold Pigment– randomly buffed into the face in patches

  • MAC Pro Chromaline in every colour haphazardly blended in areas of the face, individual to each girl

  • MAC Pro Full Fuchsia Powder Blush

  • MAC Pro Neon Pigments – randomly

  • Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation mixed with white

  • Espresso Eye Shadow– blended into the brows, one higher than the natural arch, one lower than the arch

  • Shag Eye Shadow softly blended into the socket line and in a rounded shape around the eyes, applied with 224 brush

  • Quarry Eye Shadow– blended softly above the socket line (no foundation on or around the eyes)

  • MAC Pro High-Def Cyan Chromaline – drawn in a fine line in the socket line with brush 209

  • Frozen White Pigment– heavily in the inner corners of the eyes with brush 239
