Beautylish's Favorite New Products!
Published Dec 1, 2011
Can you believe it's December already? That means the Beautylish team has had another month to get obsessed with a whole new round of products. From hair oils that put the moisture back into dry tresses to body conditioners that are perfect for the colder weather, we all found something worthy of the precious real estate in our bathroom cabinets.
1. Chi Silk Infusion
"I actually ran out of this halfway through the month and realized how much I need it in my life!" says Wafi. "Without it, my hair was lifeless and dull, and got tangled so easily. As soon as I put in a little of this oil, my hair is instantly smooth, silky, and shiny. It also has such a great smell."
2. Perfect Coconut Milk Perfume
"Ever since I got Perfect Coconut Milk perfume, I haven’t left the house without it—seriously," says Cinya. "It's a mini roll-on, so I carry it in my purse just in case I want to refresh if I'm going out after work. I also love that the blend is warm and sweet with just a hint of tropical coconut."
3. L'Oréal Paris Everpure Rosemary Juniper Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
"This is sulfate-free, which is amazing for my colored red hair since bottled red tends to fade the fastest. It also leaves my hair fresh, soft, and full!" says Jasmine.
4. Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil
"I've been a big fan of Shu Uemura's facial cleansing oil for years, and when I heard they had a new cleansing oil for hair, I just had to try it," says Ning. "My grandmother recently commented on how dry my hair looked, so I thought the oil's extra moisture would help my thirsty strands. Surprisingly, this shampoo doesn't feel greasy and is more of a gel texture than a straight oil. It foams up into a silky lather, which makes me feel like I'm giving my hair a real treat. My hair is naturally wavy, and using this shampoo helps smooth and tone down the frizz. I can't wait to show my soft, shiny hair to Grandma!"
5. Ro's Argan Body Conditioner by Lush
“This product is incredible," says Tara. "You rub it all over your body just before you step out of the shower, as you would with your hair conditioner, then rinse it off. It smells just like roses, and you can apply moisturizer when you get out of the shower for extra hydration, or just go without it!"
6. Indie Lee's Eye Balm
"My skin is dehydrated but breakout-prone, so I have to be careful about how emollient my moisturizers are," says Victoria. "This balm is technically targeted for your eye area, but I slather the stuff all over my face. I love that it has only four natural ingredients—calendula oil, beeswax, mango seed butter, and lavender oil—and I wake up with buttery-smooth skin every morning. Definitely a winter must-have."
