Something Sweet is Baking at Too Faced This Holiday Season

The only thing we here at Beautylish love more than makeup are sweets, which made indulging at the Too Faced holiday launch an extra special treat. The party for their new dessert-themed collection featured decadent sugary goodies arranged on platters and toppling out of jars, along with a crafty-cool cupcake decorating station where we were delighted to find Too Faced creator Jerrod icing a delicious cake of his own!

Jerrod explained he’s had glitter all over him for months developing the latest collection. It features five unique palettes chock full of enough shimmering shades to last through every holiday party you’re planning to hit up this winter. The French patisserie inspired colors are glam yet wearable, and we’ve found ourselves working them into our daily looks ever since we took them home.

Keep the Sweet Indulgence or the Color Confections collections at home for all you need before a big night. We love the pretty pink tins which would spruce up any makeup station. Our favorite piece of the new collection was the Shadow Bon Bons set which looked decadent tucked into a pretty purple chocolate box. Maybe we ate a few too many macarons, but just looking at the new shades gave us a major sugar rush.

The extravagance of the packaging is designed in part to make us feel confident about gifting the goodies, but we have to admit, we’re feeling a bit selfish this year and might just be keeping all of these delicious delights for ourselves. Either way, we felt warm and fuzzy mingling and munching on sweets with the Too Faced team. As we spilled onto the streets, bellies full of sweets and visions of eye shadows dancing in our heads, we realized what Jerrod meant when he told us—life is never more delicious than when you’re in love.
