Beauty Detox: Body Beautifying Salad Dressing

Changing up your dressing is a great way to make this nutritious staple more fun and interesting. Celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Snyder's recipe for sweet basil-lime dressing is super tasty, and contains a powerful mix of vitamin C and anti-bacterial properties. Basil doesn't just taste good, Beauties, it does wonders for your insides! The delicious herb helps cleanse foods that you put it with, lowering the amount of infectious bacteria. Think of it as a gentle detox for your insides! The added garlic is an immune booster, and fights against bad bacteria that causes illness and disease.
Sweet Basil-Lime Dressing
INGREDIENTS
- 1 small garlic clove or ½ medium-sized garlic clove
- 2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp water
- ½ tsp powdered Stevia or 2 to 3 drops of liquid Stevia
DIRECTIONS
Blend all ingredients together until smooth and serve fresh with mixed greens or arugula. The dressing will keep for two to three days when covered in the refrigerator.
