Not Exactly America's #1 Mascara
I do enjoy Maybelline great lash very much, but I definitely wouldn't call it "my #1" mascara at all! I really enjoy L'Oreal Voluminous carbon black (original mascara from the voluminous line), CoverGirl LashBlast, Maybelline Falsies, and Revlon Grow Luscious. I think this mascara is somewhat wet, which is fine until it clumps... I've heard that so many people enjoy it, which is good but it really does nothing for my short, straight eyelashes. It's okay. Could be used as a second coat on top of a voluminizing mascara (trick to great lashes = a coat of volume mascara then a coat of lengthening mascara). It lengthens better than it thickens so I would use it on top of my favorite LashBlast instead of using it by itself.
Awesome Mascara
I love the way this formula feels on my lashes! It's neither too wet nor too dry, it's just right and has a plumping, fluffy feel to it. My lashes look much longer AND thicker after I apply it. No, I don't think this is "growing" my lashes (I use Rapid Lash for that ;) but it is a great mascara, and appropriate for everyday use! This and CoverGirl lashblast are my favorites, it's hard to pick between the two! The packaging is sleek and I like the nice, big mascara wand/brush!
Love Love Love
This is a fantastic cream eyeliner formula. It is extremely thick and highly pigmented, just as the HIP line from L'Oreal is advertised to be. I love the consistency and the way it feels when it's applied. If smudged, it can be very difficult to remove (use concealer for smudged/messy makeup!) because the pigmentation is so intense. Just apply it slowly and it should be fine. I like to use my Avon ergonomic eyeliner brush when using this product, and not the little brush that comes in the box. The little one is a bit too spiky for me and pokes my eyelid :P But the formula is great. A little expensive, but it is very good. A cheaper dupe is the Wet N Wild cream eyeliner, but I haven't been able to find that anywhere but online lately...
Fabulous Makeup for CHEAP
I love some of Wet N Wild's eye products. These eyeshadows come in neat little trios, singles, and larger palettes (about 8 shadows). The pigmentation is high quality! The combinations of colors that these trios offer are flattering on many skin tones. Wet N Wild is seriously underrated! These eyeshadows can fall apart easily if dropped or tossed, so be careful. but who would expect it to hold together after being dropped? :P
Best Drugstore Powder
This is a fantastic powder, especially one from the drugstore or Walmart! Although it's a little pricier than most drugstore powders, it works well. It has a great finish and even offers some decent coverage. It could definitely be used without a liquid foundation underneath, and perhaps just some concealer instead. Concealer + true match powder is something I do on an everyday basis when I don't use heavy foundation. The sponge applicator is great, and the packaging is nice. It has a nice scent and the variety of shades is amazing!!! Sorry, Maybelline--L'oreal wins for their True Match line as opposed to the Fit Me. But I think the L'Oreal company owns Maybelline's company?? haha
Good, But No Different than LashBlash Volume (orange tube)
Do you like purple or orange better? Take your pick between the LashBlast fusion mascara and the LashBlast volume mascara, because I feel like these formulas are very similar. Nice marketing ploy, CoverGirl. hehe. Overall, this is a good product but it used to cost more than the orange tube and that's just not right!
Favorite Mascara Ever
I have small, thick eyelashes that lack curl. This mascara, with the help of my Revlon eyelash curler, absolutely transforms my eyelashes! It's buildable, doesn't clump because of its great rubber applicator wand (however it might get a little heavy after a 2nd coat), and lasts all day! It doesn't flake and isn't too drying. This is a wonderful wonderful mascara, probably suitable for all lash types.
Great Drugstore Blush
Hands down, these are my favorite drugstore blushes (other than E.l.f studio, but that's only available at Target or online)! That's all I need to say, really. GREAT color selection and good pigmentation. Yay CoverGirl!
Lame, Maybelline Can Definitely Do Better
Maybelline had some other pressed powder blushes that were better quality than these. I am mostly unimpressed with the entire FIT ME line. I do love the variety of foundation/powder/blush shades that they have, but these blushes have GOT TO GO. They have very poor/sheer pigmentation and fall apart easily. Also, the brush that comes inside the packaging sucks but that's sort of expected... I feel like there are much better drugstore blushes out there. E.l.f. studio has great blush, and so does Milani and Hard Candy. CoverGirl cheekers are AMAZING and worth it, but Fit Me is not :(
