Not too harsh
I picked this up on clearance, just because it looked interesting and I've never tried anything from the Garnier skin care line. I like it because you can twist open the bottle, squeeze a small amount of scrub onto the brush, then twist it close again, so you don't have too little or too much scrub on your face. It's not super harsh on my sensitive skin, the brush is I think silicone, but its flexible, and doesn't dig into my face or hurt. The microscrub smells great, and doesn't leave my face raw and red. It's a little drying, but I have dry skin to begin with, so I just make sure to moisturize afterwards! I haven't emptied it yet, but I'm hoping there's a way I can refill it, or fill it with a different scrub when it's gone. That'd be cool!
Hello Perfection!
Seriously, these are PERFECT! I picked up Extreme Blue and Extreme Purple, and I ADORE them. I get so many compliments when I wear them. The color is effortless. It doesnt matter what you put it over, it's going to seriously be EXTREME blue with one swipe. I definitely need the whole range of colors. The applicator is a little small, but if you take your time, you'll have no problems with it. The color literally will NOT budge, until you're ready to take it off. I've found a new product I can't live without!
Yes!
Finally, a lip product I can wear all day that doesn't feel heavy or messy on my lips! I picked up one of these, and I adore the texture of it. It's almost like a cream, but more light, whipped feeling almost! The pigmentation of the one I got is pretty amazing as well. They glide on easily, and look great! The will accentuate dry spots on your lips however if you have dry lips. So make sure to use a scrub and moisturize daily. But other than that, I love these! Definitely need more of them!
Okay
When I was in middle school and high school, and would wear strictly black eyeshadow, I would go through a Black Onyx pan over and over again. Now that I'm more into colors, I've picked up a few different ones. They're okay, but depending on the shade pigmentation can be seriously lacking. Very inconsistent, so you have to be careful what you buy, because it could be a good one or a bad one!
Not bad!
Not bad for a drugstore mineralized duo! I like to use the shades wet, I feel like they come out so much more vibrant and gorgeous. It helps to set it with a dry layer of the same color as well! Pigmentation is there when its wet, but dry, it can be iffy depending on the shade. Gorgeous colors in the collection!
Love it!
I love the idea of this! It goes on like a gloss, which is easy, but had the staying power of a stain! It doesn't stay glossy all day, it eventually dries down like a typical lip stain, but you can always apply gloss over top if you like the glossy look. The applicator can be a little tricky, it's sort of big, and I have small lips, you have to be careful not to get it outside your lip line, because it will stain, obviously. You can't just slather it on like gloss, it take a bit more concentration than that. Slightly drying to my lips, but it's not like, Sahara desert dry where I put this on and they immediately shrivel up! I'd definitely buy more shades of this!
Good start for lipstick!
I could never manage or handle wearing lipsticks. I always would bite, lick, rub, or bump my lips and make a mess EVERYWHERE. I've since been trying more and more to wear lipstick, it just seems normal since I wear everything else, and I picked up one of these after hearing about how good they are. The one I bought glides on nice and smoothly when I need to apply from the tube, otherwise I prefer using a lip brush. It dries down pretty quickly, I don't use a lip liner, but I don't seem to have any feathering or settling into lines with these! They do need to be re-applied every few hours, or after eating for sure, but that's true of most lipsticks. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy on my lips. A little drying, but nothing a lip scrub and some chapstick doesn't fix at the end of the day!
Inexpensive, not bad!
I needed a grow gel in a pinch, so I picked up this Ardell one at the drugstore. It holds my brows in place, but not exactly all day long. By the end of the day, they either need a touch up, or I'd better hope I can take off my makeup by then! However, it doesn't make my brows feel hard, or crusty like some gels do, so I like that. Sometimes the brush will pick up some of my brow color and transfer inside the tube. Mine is supposed to be clear, but it's turned the same color as my brow color, due to transferring color to the gel itself. But, it's not opaque, so it doesn't look horrid like some colored brow gels do, it looks the same as it did when it was clear! All in all it's not too bad, I'd repurchase if I couldn't find anything better!
I want them all!
I've heard such great things about Inglot from beauty bloggers and gurus, So I bit the bullet, limiting myself to a 5-pan freedom system palette, and let me tell you, picking ONLY 5 eyeshadows probably took me well over an hour! Their shade range is INCREDIBLE! When I got my shadows, I didn't hesitate to crack them open and start playing with them, and holy pigment. They are amazing. Every color is pigmented, opaque, and true to the color in the pan. You literally only need to tap your brush onto your shadow to get enough for your entire eye. Amazing amazing amazing! I can't wait to get more!
Wanted to love it.
I've been dying to get my hands on the purple mascara from PF in this line, and I finally picked it up. I was sooo excited to have a purple mascara! However, the black mascara does nothing for my lashes, its very dry, and the brush is very flimsy, making it hard to get a nice thick coat on your lashes. As for the colors mascara, it also does nothing for my lashes. And it hardly shows up! It dries so dark purple I might as well just be wearing black mascara! I've tried it alone, and it's still far too dark to even notice. Pretty disappointed in this, considering I usually love PF cosmetics! This one is a miss for me.
