I'm not totally in love yet.

I purchased this product with high hopes but it's falling short of my expectations. I really wanted to try a department store foundation, so I went to Sephora and shelled out the $42 for the Nars Sheer Matte Foundation. The sales associate matched me for Trinidad. In the store it looked like a perfect match, but once I got home and tried it on again it looked all wrong. The foundation made my face look pasty and ashy. It's not completely terrible but for $42 I would hope to be a bit more impressed. I may go back to Sephora and try to exchange for a different shade as I think that may be the issue.
